We love a comeback against Porto, and Porto hate a comeback from us. We were totally outclassed. Yet we managed to steal a win. This squad possesses some good quality. Build on this for next season and who knows. Who do have another cup final against Porto at the end of the season. Hopefully we can win that one too. Be really good to get more silverware in quest on the league and Euro glory.

How the league table ended at the end of the season. We seem to draw quite a bit because we fail to keep our concentration at times. This will need to change if we want to win the league. Close but not close enough.

DanW19 - Aye agree with that. Had we beaten Spurs we would have had another fixture and probably would have lost that,. On that another fixture would have meant we might not have won the cup like we did because of fatigue.



Stole the victory in extra time. Happy with another piece of silverware and a chance to get the better of Porto.

Happy with the the cup silverware. Just need to win the league now.

Brought him in on loan and has been an amazing player. Has grown with each game. However my coaches tell me he is at his maximum peak and I did not fancy making another offer for him. I could have taken him on loan, but with Tariq and Campbell available on the left then it was with the best interest of the club not to peruse a further move.

The Venezuelan monster Edgar comes in on a free from FC Twente. The guy has potential and he is going to be a very important player for us in the future.



Signed on a free from Lyon, the man to replace Leguizamon. This guy is going to be a mini general for us in the middle of the park.

Maybe 37, but he will rock the league and provide some World Class service for us. On a free, nothing but a win win situation for us.

Sold this guy for £10million. Despite being a Portuguese international centre back, I just don't think he is good enough for us. Cash in.

Lovely. I think we are pushing 3rd. Could sneak second depending on results with Napoli.

This is the activity in during the transfer window. Very pleased with our deals. We are stepping up our game in the transfer market. We have a good core of Portuguese players and adding some overseas talent will only benefit and develop those players.
