Darren Fletcher was particularly shocking today. Played worse today than I've ever seen Tom Cleverley play. I don't even want to see what his stats were.

I know its only one game but are United fans worried they wont get in the defenders they need before the end of the window? seems strange that its been left so late considering that was the one area that needed strengthening more than any other

You can hardly base their entire season on this game.

Shaw, Van Persie, Evans and Rafael coming back and a couple signings and it will be a strong side. 5 of the team that started today wouldn't be expected to start normally.

Not really. I'm pretty certain we'll get Rojo and I thought Blackett was decent.

We were missing 5 first teamers today in Rafael, Shaw, Evans, Carrick, and Van Persie on top of playing a new system. I thought we played ok in patches and their first goal was against the run of play. Its not ideal, but we knew there would be set backs on the way.

Still think even with some of those defenders to return the defence lacks some real leadership and a commanding figure. Jones is probably the closest option to that and even then he's still not quite in the same bracket of a Vidic or Rio.

Well yeah, he's a 20 year old centre back that was playing his first team football on loan at Birmingham last season he's obviously a work in progress. There's definitely promise there, though, between him and Keane we've got a decent 5th/6th choice option as long we get a more experienced head in.

Should still know better than to give the ball to the opposition to take a quick free kick when there's no defence back. Really showed his inexperience

Everton 2-2 Leicester has Everton 2-2 Norwich about it.

With Ulloa playing the role of Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

I watched West Brom 2-2 Sunderland. Pretty bad standard of play. West Brom gave away far too many freekicks around their own box. Their Belgian fullback looked good though. Sunderland looked no better than last year.

Can never understand why managers do what Poyet did today. Vergini and Jones were injured, so he moves his top CB (Brown) to RB and puts Roberge in the middle. Just play Roberge or Bridcutt at RB.
