I hate the fact that I dread seeing his name, it's like playing with 10 men with him on the pitch these days. Destroying his reputation now.

Oh, and Mascherano should have been off there.

Rooney was lucky with his penalty as well, no idea why he's still taking them.

If Torres starts against Liverpool, I am not sure I'll watch it.

Backed Celtic at 10/1 WOOOOOOPAH
Great scenes when the second goal went in, absolutely bouncing.

Ref in our match (I only saw the second half) was utterly shit for both sides.
What a shit fan you are.

Fantastic

Shit fan? How so? I am saying the truth. We were shocking in the last three games (taking out the League Cup) and we didn't exactly deserve the win, did we? And what is wrong about me saying that I think the way DiMa uses his substitution is wrong and it almost hurt us badly today? I am a realist, I can't always back my team, especially not after today.
And if you are saying that because of Torres, well, I don't think that 1 goal in 4 CL is quite enough for him to be starting...

66% possession compared to 34%, 25 shots 14 on target for Barca with Celtic having 3 shots 3 of which on target.
Curious as to how this result came about!

There's nothing wrong with how RDM goes about his substitutions. The side's issue is keeping clean sheets, not in attack. So making attacking subs isn't a must when scoring as the side has been. If the defence were more solid and organised then there wouldn't be an issue.
As for Sturridge, I have no issue with him being benched. Torres might not score as regularly but his team play and combination with the 3 behind him is far more valuable to the side and it's style. Sturridge offers none of that and is far too much of an individualist. While talented, he's not good enough to be leading the attack. Even if he does score more himself than Torres, the team play will suffer in the process.

Celtic had nothing to do with the tifo, just the Green Brigade with help of other supporters.
What a night. F*ck Barca!

I went into the game with little hope and I must admit I'd forgotten how great Champions League matches at Celtic Park can be. The stadium was absolutely bouncing from start to finish and the fans were as fantastic as ever. I was delighted that Gary Neville made the point whilst we were forced to defend for most of the game, it was rarely of the backs-to-the-wall variety and our defense did a superb job of snuffing out chances before they materialised. That said, Fraser Forster made a series of superb saves and I really hope he's given a chance for England against Sweden next week. All of the players were magnificent but I thought Victor Wanyama and Adam Matthews were the stars of the show. Hard to believe how young they both are with performances like that.
Oh, and what a night for Tony Watt. Whatever happens in his career from this point, he'll always remember scoring the winning goal against Barcelona just 11 minutes into his Champions League debut at Celtic Park. Delighted he got the goal.
