It's Cuppy. World Cup(py) if you were from the better-off areas. Chippy and Curby were particular favourites of mine too.

Here is the highlights to Thistle v Dunfermline. A must watch.

Never heard it called anything other than Wembley singles/doubles. Was a quality game too, used to get pretty competitive on the yard at dinner time in high school.

We just called it singles/doubles or finals. I heard the Wembley once or twice but it was on it's own.

Have to say I quite like the sound of the SFL's proposed league structure:

16-team Premier Division
Playing 30 games each
Two relegation play-off spots
Two teams automatically relegated
10-team Championship
Playing 36 games each
Two automatic promotion spots
Two promotion play-off spots
Two teams automatically relegated
One relegation play-off spot
16-team First Division
Playing 30 games each
Two automatically promoted
Three promotion play-off spots
One pyramid relegation play-off spot

All 30 SFL clubs have agreed to it but you'll never get 11 SPL clubs to agree.

I'd be all for it, unless the final league design/ structure is aimed at getting Sevco up the leagues quicker than before. Scottish football needs a bit of a shake-up.

But the barriers to playing in England are also vast, with the Premier League having already resisted previous overtures from both Rangers and Celtic. "I don't believe the Premier League are hostile towards it because I think it's a generalisation," Green claimed. "Speak to Manchester United. They are not hostile to Rangers joining."

But United dispute Green's claim. "We are not in favour of it at all. We are against it," United's spokesman, Phil Townsend, said. "Our view is it's the English Premier League and should remain that way."

Moron.

Aye, I can't see the smaller clubs going for a system that could see 3 of them possibly go down. Then there's the likes of us, Hearts, Dundee Utd etc who'll lose one or two derby games a season and the big crowds that go with them...

You never know, they might look to the longterm but I wouldn't bet on it.

Moron.

If Rangers feel like adding half a decade of reduced revenues to the 3 years they're facing right now I'm sure the FA would be happy to accept them at the lowest level of the league pyramid.

I don't love Friday night football as much as I did pre-Friday. Really need to start winning away; especially against the shitey teams that sit back (read: Falkirk, Hamilton)

Didn't he change his name to Snoop Lion? Maybe he gained his inspiration from the Lisbon Lions.
