We was really poor against West Brom even we picked up 3 points.
We were second best to Valencia even we beat them two goals to one. We went behind on 27th minutes after Reid needless to give away a free kick which Fede Cartabia scoring. Few seconds later, Lukas Podolski level the score, straight from the kick off as Reid booted it down the right hand side which Valencia beat his man to cross the ball into the box and Podolski slammed it home. We got the winning goal on 70th minutes after Podolski was fouled in the box and was awarded the penalty which Noble strike it into bottom corner to give us the win and advance to next round.
We was drawn against CSKA Moscow after they beat AC Milan 5-4 on agg.
We travel to Hull to play our match, it was boring and Hull was really defensive against us, Lukas Podolski got us the winner on 52nd minutes.
Leicester was our visitors at Upton Park, Podolski, put us in front on 23rd minutes, heading in Lozano's inward cross. Podolski won us a penalty on 59th minutes after being brought down. Booted it into top corner to extend our lead. Lozano got our third goal with 5 minutes remaining, with an strike inside the box after pass from Morrison.
We was better side against them in Russia, Jarvis got us the goal we needed to take back home for 2nd leg.
We was really poor against Swansea and deserved to get beaten.
I was hoping to get Romero back for our match against CSKA but got the news he got injured in training a day before the match with twisted knee and out for 2-3 weeks
Crazy game against CSKA. They were better than us. Ibrahima Baldé got them in front on 14th minutes with close range finish. Ravel Morrison got us back on level term with a strike outside the box into top corner. At half time I decided to switch to 4-1-2-2-1 formation which made us stable in second half. Took off Ravel Morrison and brought on Blair Turgott. Podolski has his goal chalked off on 50th minutes which should have stood. Huge mistake by Horn and Kana-Biyik. Some reason Horn decided to pass it to him and all of sudden KB decided to pass it back which N'Doye took advantage of to score. Blair Turgott got his first goal for the club with a curling strike into left top corner to level the score. Jarvis put us in the driving seat after putting us 3-1 up after scoring from Podolski's parried shot. Winston Reid gave away a penalty in injury time which Dzagoev put the ball into the net to level the game.

Mixed feelings for our results in the league but Europa League \o/ \o/ \o/
We went behind after poor marking from the defence to let Origi head in Johnson's cross. An own goal from Muniesa got us on leveling term after diverting Jarvis's cross into his own net. Another own goal from Stoke City, this time it's Shawcross
We should have been out of sight but we never took our chance which Stoke's N'Zonzi took his on 86th minutes with close range finish to deny us 3 points which would have made huge difference to the league standing
Our last game at Upton Park before moving to new stadium.I decided to make few changes to rest the players for Europa League Final, left our Valencia, Walker and Podolski, Lozano and played Marlow in midfielder, Leo Chambers at RB and Bywater at MR. Sergio Augero was the massive difference. We went behind on 21st minutes after stupid mistake by Kana-Biyik to let him score. Augero got his second goal 47th minutes with a strike from outside the box which hit the crossbar and went in.
WOW just wow
Roma started well against us and kept attacking at us and defence was superb against them. The game turned it on it head on 4th minutes after Downing chipped it toward the goal which Roma's Jeison Murillo mistimed his header and missed the ball which Valencia ran onto to put us ahead in the final. We has chances when it was 3 v 3 but Valencia booted it at the keeper unfortunately. Roma continues to attack for the goal and our defence was superb and Roma was caught offside alot as I ticked play offside. I was gobsmacked when we won it. Kevin Srtootman was named man of the match, which he was great against us.
Totti (currently 39) is also playing his last season with Roma before retiring, I have signed him up few months ago to be U's18 assistant manager at the end of the season. I have also brought in David Beckham as U's18 coach.

Transfers budget
We have been given 45M and the board expecting us to finish 8th, I think we can finish few places higher.
I have push most of it toward the wages budget so now we got just under 20M.

We have made alot of signings so far and we're yet to start our pre season
Pre signed him last season, so he arrived in the summer, will be spending in U's21 this season to gain experience.

Hamdallah - I lost my patience with him and definitely my worst signing I have made. Stoke snapped him up around February.
Downing - I decided to cash him in as he's now 32, and a year left on his contract.
Valencia - I'm gutted to sold him but 40M for him was too good to turn down. His agent played massive part in this, trying to get us to give him a new contract when he got 3 years left
Morrison - Decided to sell him as he was playing poor last few months and now we got Honda. We also got 50% next transfer clause in which is better for us. But Man Utd bloody got 30% out of 5.25M
