It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Yea I closed bother, then I restarted, still no change..the weird thing is, some pics can be transferred, and others cant..if I pick and choose one or two at a time, it works with some but then Finder (im on a Mac) crashes when i try to move others..

Yea restart didnt help. Mac support said it had something to do with the number of files in the megapack folder. So i copied the new config file over first...will there be a problem if i cant copy over all the photos from 7.01? Because some work and some dont.

I don't think there'll be a problem as such if some files don't copy, but the same issue will surely rear its head when future packs are released, no?

Are you sure you haven't downloaded the icons megapack by mistake? If not, could you please upload screenshots and/or give us UIDs of players whose cutout is blurry?

Since upgrading the latest cut out face pack upgrade, I have somehow managed to put all in the same folder (which Ive' named 'faces'
I have also replaced the config file with the one included in the update (7.2)
However, it now seems that only the updated files are in the config file?
Is there a config file out there that I can download to contain both the original pack and the upgrades together?
Again apologies for my naivety, all pics were working till I tried to upgrade, now can't get any.

Could you upload a screenshot of your megapack folder, showing clearly the amount of images and the size of the config file please? This way we can easily see whether there's anything wrong in there...

Leaving it for a while is ideal but then sometimes if it stalls for a while pausing the download and resuming has been known to fix the delay if anything/

You should have one folder and one folder ONLY with all the images contained in it. You should not have separate folders for each update pack. Can you confirm if this is the case?

iv downloaded the cut out face pack individually.
how do i install it?
iv put all of pack 1 in a faces folder and it has all the faces in there. do i need to put all the packs 2 up to pack 16 in the faces folder, even if pack 1 has them all ?
or can i just miss out packs 2 to 16 and just put the changes packs in to the faces folder ?

I'm afraid the split download files are not sorted by league or team and that I don't really know what is in each part.. You can always download the torrent file, which includes all the images up to 7.0. Once downloaded and applied, you can then download the 3 update packs released since then.

First of all, I'm not sure what "downloaded the cut out face pack individually" means. Have you downloaded the torrent file, the latest update pack or one of the split download parts?
To have the full megapack, you need to have a folder containing 155,000+ images in it. If you don't, then you haven't downloaded the full pack. As with the gentleman above, I would suggest you download the torrent file, then the 3 separate packs released subsequent to it

Update packs are only available via download from one of the hosting sites, and not via torrent.
Torrent files are only for the main megapack, due to the size.
