FM 2015 Live Update!

Hello all!

SUBMIT AND/OR DOWNLOAD UPDATE

First we would like to thank everyone that contributed to our FM 14 data update we appreciated all the effort you put in to making the update the best update for FM...

This year we have re-thought the strategy to make FM Live Update a bigger success for FM 15, and one of the vital things to this is to ensure we release this as early as possible, to avoid being swamped by transfers, and thus avoid playing catch up to real world events, aside from that we wanted to make the process for YOU adding transfers to the database easier.. wouldn't it be great if you could add a transfer without knowing the player or clubs ID, and without opening the FM Editor? well now you can! Yes its that easy.

This is when we now invite you to add your clubs transfers as and when they happen, have SI missed something in the released game? You can add it and once approved, you can download the files and play with the changes you and thousands of others have made, and remember only tranfers with a link of the story to that transfer will be accepted! So you can be assured the database will only include real life transfers.

There may be additional options coming in future for the FM Update, and this topic will be updated as and when anything is added. No CA/PA changes are present in any of these files. As of today, this update doesn't include Managerial changes.

Once downloaded, place the two files from the zip in the following location.

C:\Users\<yourname>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\editor data

If the folder doesn't exist, just create it and the changes will take effect once a new game is started.

Small Update! 25/01/2015

First i'd like to thank everyone that has contributed to the database up to now, its really appreciated and without you it wouldn't be what it is today!

We now have a message system where you can discuss any transfer being accepted, if for any reason it falls through, is inaccurate or incorrect you can now let us know!

Click here and beside any accepted change in the list there will be a "discussion" link to the left, click that and it will take you to the change page, which will include any notes that have been left when it was moderated. You can use this for any of the following;

- Report an inaccurate transfer (e.g if its a loan but we have it as transfer)
- Report an incorrect transfer (e.ge if the transfer simply didn't happen)
- A transfer fell through even though it was confirmed

You can not use this feature to talk about how good certain players are in the game, or to talk about the transfer in general and the effect the player will have on his new team in real world football.

We hope you enjoy this new feature!

New features 14/02/2015

- Loan 'future fee' is now working as it should, and the game no longer generates random future fees for any loans in our database
- You can now set contract expiry dates for players that are transferring from club to club. If a player signs a new contract, you can do this, just transfer him from his current club, to his current club, only changing the contract expiry date.
- It is now possible to search for players/staff who only have two letters, something that was very brought up via PM quite a lot.

Once again i'd like to thank everyone who has submitted to our update, throughout the January transfer window, the updat wouldn't be the same without you!

We are always looking for ways to improve our update, if you have any ideas on what we could do to improve our update, feel free to message me via private message, all ideas will be considerated.

Major feature announcement - 18/02/2015

We have now improved our system which works better for you (the ones submitting data) and us (the ones approving data), not only that we have also implemented the following changes;

- You can now submit Promotions and Relegations, the best way to do this without creating errors is to transfer the bottom team (relegation) with the top team (promotion), 2nd place (promotion) and 2nd bottom (relegation) and so on for each league you are promoting/relegating
- You can now submit new contracts that have been signed in real life
- Contract expiry date can now be set when moving players on permanent transfers

Again, we look forward to your submissions as without you we wouldn't be able to have such a brilliant update, but please if a change has already been submitted, don't re-submit it again, noto only are you wasting your time, it means we have to waste our time moderating changes that already exist.

I know a few leagues in the world of football have finished, mainly Norway (this league should be fully to to date as all promotion/relegations have been approved) and Sweden. If you are Swedish, or know the Swedish league system please do submit Promotion/Relegations (that goes for any other league that has completed the 2014 league season.

Update 15/06/2015 16:03

Our update now contains the following changes.

- Promotions & Relegations from all major leagues
- All old player loans have now been removed
- All old injuries have now been removed
- All old bans have now been removed

We are constantly improving our live data update, and without your submissions the update wouldn't be possible, again we'd like to thank anyone that has contributed to our update in any way. If you wish to request features please do as they'll all be considered for the future.

New features/improvements to our system - 14/07/2015

- Update now builds on the hour every hour (if changes have been approved since the last build) this means that changes are approved every hour.
- You now have 4 check boxes to pass before you can submit a submission
- You can now report any errors you find in our database by posting in here

Feature Update 22/07/2015 14:38

You can now submit the following changes;

- Make players captains
- Retire players from the game

As always please provide proof confirming the change after it has been completed and not before. Speculation/rumours won't be accepted.

i can see Loans / Transfers in pack but not Promotions and Relegations?

Promotion & Relegation isn't a priority at this moment in time, and would of just delayed the release of the tool.

Just to update everyone, you can now submit managerial changes aswell as other staff changes.

Please be aware of the following when using staff changes
When a club changes manager you must remove the old manager by releasing him on our update before transferring the new manager to that club, the reason is simply because replacing a manager makes that manager drop down to Assistant Manager.

As mentioned here: http://sortitoutsi.net/forums/topic/14634/fm2015-data-update-issue-short-club-names I can't use AZ for transfers, since the clubname seems to be too short.

Also I'm having trouble with cancelling loans. For example, Rusnak was loaned to Cambuur from Man. City in the first half of the season and then transferred permanently to Groningen. The transfer is registered, but in the database now Rusnak is loaned from Groningen to Cambuur. Same for terminated loancontracts.

I replied to your AZ problem.

As for the loan, you need to loan him to his new club as well as transfer, which will then remove his previous loan. Its the only way we can get old loans (that was put in by SI, and not our update) to be removed.

So in your case you'd need to do the following;

Rusnak > Loan > Groningen
Rusnak > Transfer > Groningen

Thank you very much. I've now added all recalled loans as "loans to their parent club". I hope this will work.

Our system is unable to create new players as we work off the official database of the game, you'd have to create him on your game via the editor

Do injuries get updated ? Man Utd seem to have loads in latest update and only Carrick injured thanks in advance KUTGW

No injuries are changed in our update.

You can create a file via the editor to do this and it'll be fully compatible with our update.

Scott Fenwick to Hartlepool United from Dunston UTS? He is not in the game at present. Scored 4 in 6 recently needs adding!

We use the official SI database.

You'll need to create him yourself in the editor as a seperate file, it'll be compatible with our database.

I have submitted a change of manager at Mansfield Town
Paul Cox no longer manager but I dont know how to move the old Assistant manager to become the Manager Adam Murray

Move him from Mansfield to Mansfield but just change his role

Marco Reus contract extended til 2019 without any release clauses. This is may important =)

We don't have the means to add contract extensions at the moment, although I do understand the importance like you say. It's something we'll consider.

Hey, I've been submitting transfers for this cool update for some time now...
And am ready to finally set sail on a save...
But my latest changes have not been enabled and it's a timelapse of Three Days now?
Is there any errors with the new patch from SI?
