Not berating the club for having racist fans, we're berating them for not attempting to change this for many years. Racism has been constant in Chelsea's matchgoers. Their going fanbase to games is the exact same as when my parents where Arsenal home & away and they said Chelsea were full of scum back then in the 70's/80's and clearly it hasn't changed since. You would've thought that the club would be trying more actively to get rid of these morons especially with the amount of racists incidents around the club in the past few years.

Millwall get the same stick and deservedly so.

The fact you're tarring all Chelsea fans with the same brush is incredibly ironic.

Yep. Sure it's a minority of Chelsea fans that are like this, but their minority is a lot, lot greater than most other teams 'minority' of racist fans.

Anyone heard the phone call from the prick who was on the train at the time and said there was no space for the black bloke on it so they wouldn't let him on. He then became very aggressive so they pushed him off in self defence, oh and as far as he was concerned they wasn't even singing 'we are racist' too. Cunt.

Ended 2-0 to Madrid, so that's done and dusted (it was as soon as the draw came out, tbh). Basel and Porto was 1-1 so, even though Basel are a good team, you'd fancy Porto to get through at home.

Porto should have won the first leg with ease looking at the stats on the BBC website. Basel only had one shot (the goal) the entire game while Porto had seven attempts on target and fifteen overall. Basel done well to hold them but Porto will finish the job in the home leg.

Watched the Real Madrid game myself, decent game (much better than Shakhtar/Bayern last night). Marcelo's goal was a good finish into the top corner and they're through. Can't see Schalke scoring three goals without reply in Spain but stranger things have happened I suppose.

I missed the Chelsea game but when I got home most of the focus was on the morons on the Paris Metro. Appears not to be a new thing either, given there was a mass brawl involving Chelsea 'fans' in Paris when they met last year. I was intrigued by a piece I read this morning on Vice Sport about them, although I'm not sure how true it is: http://www.vice.com/read/chelseas-racist-hooligan-diaspora-091

As for the games themselves, it seems as though Chelsea are only in a half-decent position because of Courtois and all of the PSG injury problems. Real also look set, even if their pink third kit is a pretty poor tone.

The City team for tonight: Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Demichelis, Clichy; Fernando, Milner; Nasri, Silva; Dzeko, Aguero.

Subs: Caballero, Sagna, Mangala, Fernandinho, Lampard, Navas, Bony.

We're going to get pumped.

Everything Kompany did in that move was fucking hopeless.

Why on earth would anyone in their right mind run at Messi like that?

So Dzeko is playing because Barca are 'weak' in the air. Surely Navas should be playing then? Its not like Nasri is going to sprint down the wing and whip crosses in.

Awful but utterly predictable first-half.

That's a terrible reason to be playing him too. He's tall but he's not even that good in the air.
