The last film I saw was A History of Violence. Good film, I give it 4 out of 5 Falcao's.

Dredd was gooooood. There were a few bits that didn't really work for me, but Karl Urban did a great job and it was visually pretty cool to look at. The action was brutal too.

Kinda hoped it'd been slightly better, but it was a lot of fun to watch.

Rewatched Shame.
Still an incredibly intense, emotional experience. Hot damn what a fucking film.

For anyone who has Sky Player, the latest movies out today:

Dragon Tattoo (English)
First Blood
First Blood Part II
Rambo III
Cast Away

And some other junk. Really, really good release week for them.

I watched the original Total Recall this morning, I'm genuinely amazed that Arnold Schwarzenegger got casted as the leading role in serious films.

Finally getting 'round to watching Top Gun; 80's films had great soundtracks!

Top film that. Armando Iannucci is a top comedy writer. Peter Capaldi is great too.

Malcolm Tucker is probably my favourite character ever

The story was decent, but inconsistent acting made it an average film for me. The scenes with the family were at times cringe worthy.

Killing Them Softly. Interesting film, lots of stylistic touches and some great acting, but there were some bits that didn't quite work for me. Thought there were a few too many dialogue scenes where he was trying to pull a Tarrantino but they didn't quite work as well.

Overall I liked it though, certainly a better experience to watch and think about than a lot of the crap we've had this summer. Worth a watch.

At least get the title right.

Extremely excited for it though. I love Andrew Dominik.

Someone recommended 3,000 Miles to Graceland to me, let's just say I won't be taking his advice again. Kevin Costner is a horrible actor.

To counteract this bullshit I decided to go on a Statham run.

Transporter 2, Crank and Crank 2.

If you don't enjoy those three films then your life isn't worth living.

The Transporter 2 is the Citizen Kane of modern action films.

Convinced myself to watch Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring in preparation for the upcoming The Hobbit, but one does not simply watch one film without watching the rest...

I've never actually seen any of the LOTR films.

I think it's the length of them that has put me off. Really need to get onto them.

Some good British movie from last three or four years to watch? I prefer not too mainstream movies to Sherlock and well known stuff this time..
I need it to be British, for the accent. I used to be close to British accent and now it is somewhere between Australian and German..

Somers Town is a decent watch, though actually most of the characters aren't from England, and therefore speak with a so-called foreign accent.
Just watch Le Donk and ScorZayZee
