Completely forgot this existed. I remember the pre-release where people were taking it kind of seriously and some critics actually liked it. Then it dropped off the radar because apparently it bombed so the producers decided to only show it in art house cinemas. That's why I haven't seen it until now.

And let me tell you... it's just as fucking insane as it sounds. Mel Gibson talking like a shit cockney via a hand beaver with everyone seemingly accepting this as completely normal. It's fucking mental, pure car crash bullshit and I'm so glad that it got made.

I just watched The Expendables 2. It was everything I expected it to be and more. Chuck Norris is godlike, Bruce Willis and Arnie exchange catchphrases and Stallone attempts to act very deep. One of those guilty pleasure films for sure.

Just been to see Looper. Really enjoyed it, even if there was a 5 minute spell in the middle where it confused the fuck out of me

Not the best thing I've seen. Lacked depth.

Saw Josh Radnor's film Liberal Arts the other day. Found a few parts pretty pretentious and romanticised but the dialogue was smart and funny, and the cast were all really good. Elizabeth Olsen is absolutely adorable, and Zac Efron had a really fun role too.

Watched Milk. Yet another gay film that has zero cock shots in it. Disappointed.

FYI, if you want cock shots watch that Gaspar Noe film about some dudes hunting a guy who raped Monica Belluci for ten minutes, called Irréversible. Not only does it have the best opening to a film ever, with multiple dicks, disorientating cinematography and some guy getting his head caved in, but it also has the longest and most awesome rape scene ever.

Before Sunrise.

Beautiful film.

Watched the sequel Before Sunset tonight. Just as good as the first film.

One of the shorter films I have seen lately as well, with an actual run-time of only about 75 minutes.
