It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I've had the megapack for around a week and it has been working smoothly. However, in one save the faces have stopped appearing in the team that i am managing. This for me wouldn't be a problem but because i am producing content for my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUfrcS5-O1vrTHLNui5yUiA i want to try and solve it before it effects any of my youtube saves

Also, in total, how many images do you have in your megapack folder?

I suspect you only downloaded the 7.05 update pack rather than the whole 7.05 megapack. You should have over 158,000 images in your megapack folder, can you confirm whether this is the case or not?

1. Open the main megapack folder.
2. Extract the update packs to individual folders on the Desktop (or anywhere you like really)
3. Move the images (not the whole folder) from update pack 7.01 into the main megapack folder.
4. Accept overwrite when prompted.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with update packs 7.02 to 7.06.
At the end you should have all the 159,000+ images in one folder. The main megapack folder should contain no sub-folders.

I definitely remember tuodi8shi releasing a number of quite large Chinese mixpacks so to say there's almost no faces available is a bit of an exaggeration I suspect. I also recall a number of Hong Kong releases in the past, as well as the usual individual cut-outs produced in the missing and improvement threads.
However, there's "only" 159,000 images in this megapack out of a total of over half a million persons in the FM database so there will inevitably be gaps, especially in countries which are not used very frequently by FM players where gaps may not be as noticeable. In some cases, cuttable sources for players within the FM database will also prove frustratingly hard to find.
If you come across some workable sources, then by all means please post them in the individual or teampack threads respectively according to the thread's rules

To add to your query today, the deal with the megapack is that you get all the images in the megapack. It's already hard enough keeping up with all the images being produced, so you can imagine the work involved in separating the megapack by country or division. Add to that the continual moving around of players and staff between club, nations and divisions, promotions and relegations, retirements, new additions etc. and that should give you an idea of the scale of the task involved in categorising the megapack in any way, shape or form.
So basically, you should just download the whole megapack and you'll be able to enjoy everything

I'm having a strange problem with the pic of Van Persie. I'm in 2016 and he got released from Man U, so I scouted him and in my inbox there is the scouting report with Van Persies pic. However, when I select Van Persies profile the pic disappears, and it is the usual black "picture". His pic then won't appear again, unless I either restart the game or reload the skin. Really strange one, as I also never had any issues with the cut out megapack at all.

I think that is because he is currently in the Dutch national team. If you view a player from within the French or Dutch national team rather than his club (or if he is in the national squad but unattached), then his image will not be displayed. This is due to licensing reasons.
