Could you not just come up with a realistic figure then? Or maybe in the Southampton case give him around the same wage as Clyne currently has seeing as he is more than likely going to be his replacement? Somthing must be better than how it currently is. A (most probably) starting Premier League right back in a top 10 team thats just been bought only on £4k a week? Should be around £15-25k IMO, Even at £15k its a lot more realistic.
Obviously the database is massive with thousands of transfers but on the occasion where an educated guess could be applied, I think that would be the way to go rather than wages massively out of proportion. Not every tom, dick or harry but the few of you that confirm the transfers. Us users could suggest a wage with the transfer. If you dont know much about the league then fair enough, either take the suggestion, or leave it like you currently do, but for the more well known leagues and transfers I dont think an educated guess would do any harm. Certainly better than having players £15-30k a week (in most cases) away from their probable wage.
Edit: Case in point. The previous post calls for a clause to be removed because its unrealistic to have that clause at his new club. Obviously thats been thought about and agree'd and its going to be removed, which is correct and more than justifyable. Is it not unrealistic for a newly bought Premier League player which has been bought more than likely to start games to only be on £4k a week? Some of their U-21 players that havent kicked a first team ball yet will be on more than that surely?
We can all accept that not everything in the update is going to be spot on. Neither is the official database. But a bit of common sense could be applied a bit more often especially with big things like wages which obviously affect the games for better or worse with regards to budgets. For Southampton its great. Brand new player only on £4k a week so still got £X to play with in the kitty.
So just something to have a think about maybe. KUTGW

I totally see where you are coming from mate, however its not just as simple as putting X player on 15k per week, and the reason is because of the game. Last season the player in question was on a wage of 4k, but in the recent season he's become good enough to get recognition from a Premier League club, so they sign him, the thing is, the player is still going to be the same ability on the game as he were at his old club, because we don't believe in changing CA/PA as its peoples opinion.
I agree that 4k may be unrealistic, but others may not, i'll adjust it to be a few k more, but it won't be anywhere near 15k-20k
Wages also mess with the balance of the game more than people would think.

just open europa league you will see registered teams/swap west ham with 1 of the other english teams..

Not without swapping another Premier League team, on FM 15 you can only have 4 participants from one league, in real life its 5 now. The only way we could accomplish that in FM 15 is to rewrite the whole of the European competitions, which would take an absolute age.

I think he is confused by the fact that our database stills says he is at the club that he is loaned to.
You shouldn't need to do anything, we have removed all the loans in our update.
We should probably try and get our online database inline with the update to make things less confusing.

if a player has common name or surname it's better to search by ID. At least you've got 100% chance that player you're trying to edit is correct

select it
on left hand menu you will various folders...details/ history/ teams for next season etc etc
strangely its not in the teams for next season folder its in registered teams ....look in there you will see a long list and alongside them will be their seedings
so if you want to go straight to group stage you need to swap with a team seeded 1...

I know what you mean now, and i think that it is a problem because you have to put first three letters to search and in Odense case it's really problematic. I could suggest searching the team by ID, but I don't know if that could be implemented.
And another thing - It's hard to move the manager from free agent to a club because there's no box you can tick 'free player' and I have to search in non-playing history to find his last club he was working in. If there's easier way, let me know, maybe I'm missing something

It's because their team only has 2 letters (OB) and you need at 3 to search. I'll try and look into a way of fixing this.
