Boy A is very good, it will probably make you feel both uncomfortable and depressed though.

Looking for Eric really isn't about Cantona at all. He is nothing more than a supporting character, the imaginary friend who instils the main character with confidence.

And it is a very, very good film.

I just watched Prometheus.

It's not the science fiction masterpiece that it had the potential to be but it is still very, very good. Michael Fassbender is spectacular.

I still really liked Prometheus despite its flaws. Technically its stunning imo, its just a shame the script is a bit of a mess.

Aye, a few scenes are absolutely amazing, the star map scene in particular.

The Blind Side isn't that bad.

I'd agree that calling it "epic" is going way over the top though.

Revolver, confused the shit out of me most of the time; also watched Driven yesterday, was Ryan Gosling's character meant to have some sort of mental deficiency or something?

Drive. Driven was a terrible Sylvester Stallone film.

Watched Hanna again last night. A fairy tale with a child assasain as the princess, Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother, an awesome soundtrack by the Chemical Brothers and Eric Bana fucking shit up.

This scene is amazing:

Yeah, that. Although I saw somewhere on the internets that they're making a sequel to Drive called Driven.

Yeah I had no idea what the hell was going on, only really watched it for Jason Statham and he didn't really kick anyone's ass, and he had hair which sketched me out.

Edit: Whilst I'm here, everyone's been raving about Netflix so I signed up for it but there's fuck all there to watch! I've watched all the films I've wanted to already, apparently the American version has way more.

To answer your question about the lead character in Drive, he's basically a modern incarnation of the man with no name. Drive draws a lot from classic film noir and westerns, two genres where that type of character was common.

He's the strong, silent type, as Tony Soprano would put it.

Watched The Campaign the other day, was pretty good. Not amazing but not bad. Didn't like Galifinakis' character but I can't help but laugh at Will Ferrell no matter what.
