Could we not have just ONE Liverpool fan who admits that Suarez is a fucking cunt?

I'll even start it off:
John Terry is a scummy moron, who probably deserves every bad thing that comes his way.
Ivanovic is dirty and has a weird tendency to dive.

Yeah it's easy -

Ashley Young is a diving scumbag.
Wayne Rooney is generally a terrible person, as is Ryan Giggs.
Rio Ferdinand is a bit of a nob.

If only he were good enough to make Liverpool relevant for anything other than derision.

This is the most mental quote in here.

Suarez has been one of (if not the) top performers in the Premier League this season.

If he applies himself and does some Henry style training to improve his finishing he could become a next level god.

Suarez is a cunt, not one Liverpool fan argued otherwise but posting a gif like that is ridiculous

I'd just be happy to see an acceptance of his cuntishness, without trying to defend him in the same post.

Oh yeah, he's an excellent player, he's just a massive wanker and it detracts from his skill.

Of course he's a cunt, but he's our cunt, so I'll defend him all I like.

It's the fact that he doesn't understand why people hate him, that's what makes him so loveable.

A pantomime villain really is the best way to describe him.

Other than a tyrannical racist monster, according to some.

He is a pantomime villain but that suggests he's playful and mischievous, the ankle-stamping goes beyond that really. It won't be long before he seriously injures someone.

It's the same as Scholes. He doesn't attack people's legs on purpose, he's just disgraceful at tackling.

No no no, Paul Scholes is allowed to foul players as bad as wants, simply because he's Paul Scholes. We can then watch them back and chuckle to ourselves about them along with the pundits. I mean, he doesn't do it on purpose, he's Paul Scholes and just doesn't know how to tackle and lets be honest, no one would with only 20 years experience at the top.

I dunno, routinely standing on peoples ankles on their standing leg is far more dangerous for me.

I may be wrong but I can't think of a Scholes tackle that has ever injured anyone. He can tackle, he just likes to foul people as well. He seems to enjoy going in when he's got no chance of taking the ball just so he can take someone out. Other times he'll take the ball but makes sure he gets a fair bit of the man at the same time. His red card in the FA Cup Semi was a bad foul but he was going for the ball, he just left his foot in and made sure he caught Zabaleta on the follow through. Loads of older players are like that though, it's just the standard 'let him know you're there' old school style. He is dirty though.

So Scholes fouls people intentionally and it's ok because he's an older player

But you criticise Suarez for everything he's involved with. Don't get me wrong he's definitely been guilty of some really dirty acts on the pitch, but some (not all) of the stamps to me look like he's genuinely losing balance and happens to step on the opposition player. I can see what Abbot means about pantomime villain from that, it seems even when he does something good people are always careful to point out he's a dirty player.

Everyone goes on about the Liverpool fans on here being overly defensive, but the amount of shite gets thrown at them you can hardly blame them.

Of course Suarez is a massive massive cunt, but he's brilliant. He isn't going to change, it's just his nature and how he approaches the games. Don't hate him, love him for who he is . That's why most people love Balotelli, Ibrahamovic etc. They just don't give a flying fuck and why should they. And when your earning £100k plus weekly I really don't think anyone would care what other people think Soccer players just need to man up I think, this shit happened all the time 15+ years ago, soccer's gotten to soft imo. Would love to see some of today's superstars play a game of rugby or Gaelic football.

Footy's gotten soft, because stamping down on people's ankles is seen as a bad thing.

What a peasant way to think of things.

Yes, let's compare Rugby to Football, because that's so relevant.

I'd love to see a bunch of Basketball players play Rugby, they'd get killed, the pussies...

Sorry, I meant the diving.

I agree with the point about the stamping, Rodgers needs to sit him down and tell him to stop, he's a little bollix for it.

Not directly, but you were obviously trying to justify Scholes' consistent fouling

No, I said he was dirty. The comparison with Suarez's fouling was made. I noted that Scholes' are generally harmless whereas Suarez has injured players recently and will seriously injure someone before too long if he carries on stamping on their heels and ankles.

What a ridiculous statement.

Just because some of his stamps haven't caused long-term damage to the recipients of those challenges doesn't somehow justify them. Players are sent off for two-footed challenges because they are dangerous and could have caused damage, not just because they've sidelined a player for months. The fact is some of his tackles seem to have some malice in them and they could potentially cause damage, and I'd say it's been pretty lucky that no-one has been out for a while after some of his stamps. I hope Rodgers addresses it before it eventually does put someone out for a long period of time.
