Valencia started both with Darmain at LB but was hooked at half time vs Wolfsburg with Young slotting in at right back.

I remember when I said I never rated Rooney years ago and got absolutely slaughtered on here..

Tbf he did score like 30 goals the season after I said it

He's normally at least competent at LB, got exposed today because Memphis couldn't be bothered to defend and Schweinsteiger was running around like a headless chicken.

If he'd have had Schneirderlin on that side instead I think he'd have been ok.
