It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I've managed to get the pack into the right folder, C:\Users\vaio\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\graphics\faces... I've got 138,003 items in the folder which sounds about right but in the game i've got loads of players faces missing. Debouchy and Mertesacker, Alexis Sanchez and Welbeck all missing from Arsenal, the first team I checked. What have I done wrong? :/

There should be over 163,000 images in your megapack folder and so there are a number of missing images. It looks to be like the download was truncated part-way, according to the error message you posted. I would suggest that you try downloading it again...

I downloaded all the updates yesterday for FM16. I have done the correct procedure in moving the MP to the correct folder. I have cleared cached in the game, ticked the correct reload in the game.
Also cleared cache in the c drive and still not all graphics appear.
Kits and logos work perfectly.
Help please!!!

Just tried unzipping the Stadium Backgrounds download and WinRAR punched up the same errors. Something wrong with my program it seems. Any suggestions?

Just got a macbook and won't let me use this file after downloading it. Had no trouble last year when doing it on a pc. Am i being stupid??

I'm not a Mac user so can't really offer any specific help. However, can you try extracting the file with the Mac version of winrar instead of iZip - that may be the issue. Also, are you sure that the file downloaded fully?

I have downloaded some faces etc, saved them in the appropriate folder, then clear the cache to get the "new" faces working within the game.
However, there are now some faces that I didn't download that were working fine, but now that are missing, for example Charlie Austin, he is not the only one there are quite a few.
What am I doing wrong?

Re-downloading the content now, how many images should it contain so I know it downloaded ok?

I have now waited 2-3 times X 1 -2 hours in order to downlload the newest version of the cut-out facepack, just to learn it stop downloading after 4.2GB the first time, 1.2GB the second and 6.8GB the third?!?!

i already have that installed. the french players faces from the facepack have suddenly gone. they was there. pressed continue. then they was gone. all faces are in the graphics folder and the config is set up right.

I'm afraid not. There isn't any way of sorting out the megapack in any way, be it league, country or nationality...

Not much detail but if you want league only faces, then you can't. Well, you probably could but they will be out of date. Nobody does that anymore it's mainly megapacks with lots of leagues.

Whenever I try to open or extract the fully downloaded megapack I get the message saying "Can not open file 'C:/Users/set up/Desktop/sortioutsi_cutout_megapack_8.01.rar' as archive "
I have downloaded, deleted and re-downloaded the file 3 times and each time this has happened.
Has anyone experienced similar problems and if so is there a way around it?

7.47GB is what it shows when I right click the ZIP folder (The full file is 7.48 right?)
Obviously not downloading fully, something wrong with my downlod or laptop in that case. It's certainly not a lack of diskspace...
I shall try downloading it again after clearing up some more diskspace running a mini clean, see if it solves it
