It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

It's probably an installation error I'm afraid. Can you upload a screenshot of how they look in the game now and how your megapack folder looks like? In the MP folder, are there any sub-folders and what is the date modified of the config file?

Try generating a new config file automatically using this program. A clear guide on how to use the program can be found here, but it's really rather easy.
Backup your original config file, just in case!

I don't think it's the seeding. If you look at the trackers that are hosting the torrent at the bottom of my client, it looks like they're all not working.

You should have over 165,000 images in your megapack folder. If not, then you haven't downloaded the full pack and therefore will not have the full complement of faces. I suspect that you've downloaded the 8.0 update pack instead of the 8.0 full pack...
I'm not sure I understand you - are you sure they are all the same, doesn't make much sense? :s Could you upload a screenshot containing a sample of a couple of the files' contents?
Perhaps you could try downloading the torrent file, and thus avoid having to download the files separately.

I have downloaded the first 10 parts thus far and I'm compiling them all into the first part (containing 72,071) by selecting all and copying each part into the first one, however when I do this, they are all duplicates? What is the purpose of all the parts when they are duplicates of the first?

The split file system is generated by the mirror sites themselves, i.e. it is not something in our control and therefore it's not something I can check, short of downloading the files myself.
However, I believe the intention is to have separate images in separate files, otherwise it just defeats the purpose.
If you can upload a bigger version of that screenshot, I may be able to confirm or otherwise if this is indeed the case...

Basically, part 1 has 72,071 faces and the subsequent packs (up to pack 8 which is how far I got) are all sections of part 1, each containing around 10,000 faces. It may be something worth mentioning as it basically means that downloading parts 2-8 is a waste of time.

As Swedie is saying, it looks like it may be a problem your end. My downloading speed is totally atrocious and I'm getting 1.3/4 MB/s, which is very good indeed for my internet connection.
Can you upload your speedtest results so that I can see whether it's a problem your end?

Other than using the editor, getting their UIDs and looking for them manually, I can't really think of anything...
