It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I've downloaded the cut out facepack file, extracted it from winrar to documents>sports interactive>fm16>graphics>a folder i made called facepacks.
then gone into preferences, cleared the cache, reloaded the skin, restarted the game but still can't get the player faces in my game. can anyone give me any advice?
same for the logos and kit packs. when finishing installing from winrar it gives the "you need to have the following volume to continue extraction" message thought i have the parts and for the kits there is just the one part so i'm stumped. any help greatly appreciated!

You need to include it with his UID in config. file. Best thing you can do is to wait just couple of days with new update,and complete new config. file with him included.

Iv been using last years cutout facepacks (7.08). How shoudl I go about to get the newest cutouts? Do I have to download the full pack, or download the 8.0x update packs? Or do I need to just download the latest update pack?

There's no need to download full Megapack.You should just download all 4 updates from 8.0 - 8.03 on the bottom of the page

I have download the update facepack 8.0 - 8.03 but I don't see update packs 8 for the icons at the bottom of the download pack,should I download the mini icons pack (166.83MB) or latest icon changes (3.7MB) only?

Frankly, the icons pack is small enough to just bite the bullet and download the whole icons pack. It won't take you long and you'll be sure you have to whole file...

Yea it loads fine when I have no graphical mods installed..well, so far, im only about 6 weeks into the season but no crashes so far...no other graphics mods installed at the moment, though before I was using Metallic logos.

Without actually seeing the contents of your graphics folder, there's not much I can say with certainty about what could the issue, though I suspect it is the case that there is an installation error with some files. Can't help you much more, I'm afraid

Nope, any graphics pack that gets put on makes it crash, whether its badges or facepacks or what have you. Although it IS possible to install a data change, because I have the sortitoutsi data update installed and there hasn't been a single crash.

Can you take a screenshot of the location you are placing the graphic files? Make sure the path is clearly displayed.

Your megapack folder should contain no further sub-folders, i.e. you should have one folder and one folder only, with the 169,000+ images in there.There should also be a config.xml file in there.
If the above is correct, then perhaps you could upload a screenshot of the location and contents of your megapack folder, perhaps I can then be able to spot what's amiss.

have they been discontinued or are they somewhere else now, last update had an icons pack update with it underneath main update but the latest one has not.

i downloaded the 8.00 pack. I unzipped in my FM16>graphics>faces and it worked very well.
I decided to download the 8.01 and 8.02 and 8.03 pack/updates
I unzipped the updates in my folder "graphics>faces" but when i launched the game many faces disappeared. Did i do something wrong ?

You should have one folder and one folder only. Copy the images (and config!) from each update into the main megapack folder, overwriting when prompted. You should not have separate folders for each update pack.
