Shame for Shrewsbury that they are playing United at home. Getting half the gate from a match played in front of 60k+ at Old Trafford would have been great for them.

Yeah I thought Liverpool played quite well in spells. Could easily have won on another day.

I was actually hoping they'd get through so we'd play them, just because they have their minds elsewhere this month - League Cup final, Europa League etc. Whereas the FA Cup will probably be West Ham's priority now.

I know he missed a penalty but Martin Samuelson looks like a brilliant prospect, i reckon he'll be in the West Ham first team within a year or two easily.

Can't remember the last time i was so impressed watching a teenager play football as was head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch and will certainly go on to have a massive future. You could see he was always thinking of what he's gonna do with the ball before he's received it, is extremely skillful, never panics on the ball and always looks to play it forward. No idea why City let him go.

Well that escalated quickly... Not that fussed overall but frustrating to be left short by the senior players - Demichelis and Caballero, in particular - rather than the kids.

Less that than the fact we have about 13 fit players, and we have a Champions League tie on Wednesday and a cup final next weekend. The FA Cup's always going to be the last priority in that combination.

Well done to Palace on reaching the semi finals! Thought Al-Habsi had earnt Reading a replay until the penalty - though tbf he got a hand to that too!

Now to cheer on Everton, Watford and West Ham!
