Don't f*ck it up @Dan, promotion is looking good with four(?) league games remaining as we are five points clear at the summit of the Championship table.
We have our hands on the Scottish Challenge Cup at last! The final saw us take on Motherwell and we walked to a three one victory as they are struggling in our league. MacDonald had two, one either side of the break and either side of Shankland who scored four minutes into the second half. We couldn't keep a clean sheet, conceding in the eighty eighth minute, but a big trophy to win.
Disappointing to lose this one, especially as we were at home and were one nil up through Russell. However Hay and Crossan cancelled out our early goal as we slipped to a two one defeat against cup runners up Motherwell.
We are crowned League Champions away at Queen of the South with a fine three one victory here. Russell got us off to a flyer before the host levelled. Shnkland then netted twice to secure the win and the title.
A trip to Dunfermline and a defeat wasn't the ideal way to end the league season but that is whats happened. Despite taking a first minute lead we went on to lose three two in the end. Our goals came through Muirhead and Collins, the league title was already secured though.
And so we are crowed league champions by three points over Dundee United. We figured it would be an easyish job after St Johnstone were relegated last year but Dundee United pushed us all the way.
I will briefly leave this here whilst I await @Shedender's views on the job, they have just been relegated from the Championship to League one, the next trophy we need in England realistically.
If they've been relegated to League One then I'd assume they'd be one of the favourites to win the league. I'd take it. How much foreigners has the squad got currently? Don't ideally don't want to do an entire overhaul, sure you're the same.
So on the 10th June 2024, we returned to England, again! This time heading to Chesterfield who have just been relegated from the Championship down into League One, the next trophy on our list as we'll target the JPT whilst we're here too
Heres the squad we take control of, a couple foreign players who will need to be dispatched, however all is good as they are valued at some money so we should be able to turn a tidy bit of money into some good English players this summer.
Fellow League One side Crewe got a massive financial takeover too this summer.
Looks like you've brought in some good faces @Shedender ! Hopefully they perform
Of course some players I'm iffy about but got to be confident they can perform over the season.
Lets not get carried away, but this is a tremendous start to our League One season as we duffed MK Dons 4-0 at the Proact Stadium as debutants Douglas Morrison, Stephen Mahon and Donovan Wilson all got on the score sheet - left back Conor Quigley completed the rout five minutes into the second half.
Despite the on loan Stephen Mahon giving us a second minute lead, we are out of the League Cup in the second round following a home defeat against Crewe. Poor.
Screw the Bolton result being unacceptable, this result IS unacceptable and our bubble has truly been burst as Oldham f*cked us 7-1 at home and I've been tempted to resign. They took their chances but to say our defence was pub league standard is a f*cking insult to pub teams. Donovan Williams scored our consolation goal on a miserable afternoon all round.
Our confidence has gone and I don't know how we're going to pick up a win. Four straight defeats, seventeen goals conceded and TWO goals scored and I almost got the chop following this latest defeat.

Another step towards the league title thanks to Collins and an own goal sending us two nil up. We conceded a late consolation but that's all it was.

Well first out the door is Bartus, bringing in a cool one point one million pounds as he heads to Charlton.
Dan
Another one point seven million pounds brought in on centre back Streete.
Dan
Eight hundred thousand pounds more brought in.
Dan
The last piece of action for me, two and a half million pounds for this man as he goes to Bristol City.
I now leave Shedender with almost three million to bring in new faces.

Back-to-back league wins as we beat Newport 4-1.

Oh didn't realise Crewe had a bit of money about them but still disappointing as we lost at home.
Rovers took their chances, disappointing but nothing you can do I'm afraid.

Results like this can not and will not be tolerated. We were three goals down against a sh*te Bolton side inside 20 minutes.

Jon Taylor's goal on the stroke of half time has given us a huge win away at 'relegation rivals' Exeter,

It's back-to-back wins in League One after this hard fought success at Gillingham. Jon Taylor and Rory Donnelly on the scoresheet.
