Gendo, We're Coming For You - A Dan & Shedender BSC Succession Save

Out of the League Cup, as expected as Premier League Stoke ease to a 4-1 success.

An own goal has given us maximum points @ home to Fleetwood.

Poor performance but just relieved to be in the next round of the JPT.

First league defeat of the season, probably didn't deserve to lose but Gateshead were clinical the f*cks.

Douglas Morrison's goal on fifty six minutes has given us a hard fought victory at home to Wycombe.

Fair result I suppose but it's come at a price - Douglas Morrison has been ruled out for up to four weeks ffs. Pulled hamstring.

Poor enough result against Coventry, only positive side was David Riley scoring on his Chesterfield debut a minute before half time.

David Riley's second goal in as many games saw us secure victory at Blackburn.

And that's my stint done and dusted at Chesterfield and it hasn't been a terrible start to the season. I don't think I'm going to have time to upload the file to @Dan so that'll perhaps need to be left until later on due to circumstances beyond my control. Crewe are perhaps the surprise league leaders early on after winning five and drawing five of their opening ten games.

What went on here I don't know. Poor result come the end.

Another attempt at the JPT saw us slip out the competition. We dominanted against Grimsby but just couldn't hold on and take our chances.

I fear I've turned into @Shedender , I can't buy a win, we can't hold onto a lead! This is ridiculous, three defeats on the bounce for me.

A win at last! A dominant showing for us, hopefully we kick on from here.

Or not, a dissapointing defeat once again. We need to start taking our chances in front of the goal!

Ha. If you turned into me then we'd be getting sacked at every club we've managed.

A win against struggling MK Dons brings us back into the playoff spots. Now we just need to focus on staying there or higher!

And back to back wins recorded as we beat fellow playoff chasing Barnsley. This win jumped us from seventh up to second, thats how close the table is at the moment.

Lost a screenshot, we beat Torquay in the FA Cup First Round 2-0. we play Charlton in the Second round.


Two nil up, at home against Wigan. Lose three two against the League One struggled. Pretty much summing up my stint.

This game against sixth place Charlton swung in our favor, this time two nil down, we came back to draw two a piece and remain just two points off the top spot.

A draw against struggling Luton, despite leading two nil once again saw us draw two a piece and slip down to sixth in the league and four points off league leaders Rochdale. Just five points separate the top ten after nineteen games and only nine points separate Rochdale in first to MK Dons in nineteenth!!

We're out the FA Cup, losing to fellow league one side Charlton. Not too fussed crashing out this competition as we were never going to win it.

Lost to league leaders Rochdale, not the greatest of showings from us.

A win for Christmas is what we got! Travelling to Wimbledon we stole a two one win. It looked disastrous when we went one down inside a minute. However goals from Sanders and Dowell sorted the result for us.

And I end my stint with back to back wins as we keep a clean sheet and take all three points against Bolton at home. Sanders and Donnelly securing me a win to send to Shedender.


And so we go into the New Year and @Shedender's stint with the club sitting fifth and well in the title fight, Infact, Hartlepool in fifteenth probably still consider themselves as in the title fight only being ten points off the top. Theres a long way to go in this one.

Secured a fully deserved single goal win at home to Shrewsbury as Rory Donnelly scored the winner.

We deserved something from this game, disappointed to have lost 2-0.

Poor.

Three straight league defeats and we haven't scored in those three games - I'm officially worse than @Dan ffs.

We weren't great but I don't care - Kieran Dowell's goal on fifteen minutes turned out to be the winner at Highbury.

And we're back to normality as Cambridge won 2-0 at the Abbey Stadium. We yet again deserved something but couldn't take our chances when they arrived. Things doesn't help that on loan Douglas Morrison has been quite poor this season - only eight goals in twenty four or so games, not great.


...yeah, somehow we've survived getting the sack . . . for now.
