I suggest everybody clicks the "Notify me when updated" button to receive an email when the file is updated/amended in the future.
This file will need to be re-applied if/when patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are automatically re-installed by Steam when official patches come out.
The sortitoutsi real names fix changes the instances of fake names in Football Manager 2016 to the proper, real life names for awards, cities, stadiums and competitions, in cases where the actual name is not licensed. It will also fix the fact that the German National team doesn't call up real players. These are fully save-game compatible.
There is also a club name changes file, which changes the names of clubs in a way which ensures that any nicknames entered in the default database are retained. This file includes the proper names for German, Italian and French clubs to circumvent licensing restrictions. It also adds real-life media and journalists, with 26 media files added to encompass all major footballing nations and continents. Finally, it includes a small file which corrects the 3-Letter competition names to correspond with any changes made in the lnc files. For all these files to work, however, you will need to start a new game.
Magrippinho very helpfully created a YouTube video on how this file should be installed. Some of the contents are different - but the procedure is identical, although of course you use the equivalent folder for FM16.
Or, you can follow the below instructions to install this version of this file
Step 1: Go to
PC
Slightly more detail in this post
Linux
Android:
Step 2: Delete the dbc, edt and lnc folders from the path above
Step 3: Copy the dbc, edt and lnc folder from this download into the folders mentioned in step 1.
Step 4: Go to:
Step 6: Keeping the folder in step 5 open, go back to the file you downloaded and select the folder named "FM16 Real Names Fix Files from sortitoutsi.net v2.1".
Step 7: Paste the circled folder directly into the folder mentioned in step 5.
Take care to remove any previous versions of this file
Step 8: This should be what your editor data folder looks like. There may also be a config.xml file in this folder and can be safely retained; it is generated by FM every time the game starts.
To make sure the files have been applied correctly, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase in your saved game, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, German national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not instantly. Club names (including the German ones) are only changed if you apply the editor data files before starting a new game. For a workaround if you've already started a new save-game, then please read the opening post of this thread.
Some of these changes, ESPECIALLY THE CLUB NAMES, may not apply in FMC. There's a workaround for that in the first post.

The issue is caused by dbc files in the 16xx\dbc file, so I can't change this manually with lnc's
Just follow Koetzer's solution here to manually sort it all out yourself
You've basically applied Koetzer's solution as well
This is not something solvable by clearing the cache. Just apply Koetzer's solution and you'll be fine.

I'm afraid so, yes.

Then I'll start again.

Yesterday I loaded fix into 1630 data, I started new career and save it but Barclays Premier League headlines turn Engelse Premier League in Dutch language same way Eredivisie and other leagues and competitions. btw I using claassen megapack and thesacrisant's extended german league

The files need to be in place before the save-game is started. Is this the case?
I suspect it's due to one of the extra files you've mentioned. Try loading a new game without them and, if I'm right, then the competition name changes will be correct.

I started new game.I don't know what is wrong. This is not the first time i use that files. But except that,i opened the files and i didn't find where the changes are.

i did the Brazil fix but that hasn't worked.
Apologies if I've missed someone else giving the fix but I couldn't see anything in the comments I saw.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Looks to me like you've not applied the files from this download correctly. Can you upload a screenshot of your 1630/dbc/permanent folder, your 1630/edt/permanent folder and your 1630/lnc folder?
Also, the Brazil fix cannot be remedied at this point if you'd started the game already without applying the changes from this download...

also everything in all the DBC files is now nonsense where it was once English
mons
You've only uploaded a screenshot with the contents of the dbc folder, and not of the other folders I requested. It looks fine.
I have no idea what "nonsense where it was once English" means tbh; appreciate a bit more detail so I can tell what's the matter there.
I'd also appreciate a screenshot of what's wrong in your game so I know what to look for

It's also important that the fake.edt file in 16xx/edt/permanent is deleted in all folders, as well.

I would like to know that if I implement the patch with name changes to my game, will it delete all the editing I have done in the database? I am talking pre-game btw.

Editor data files work in parallel, so you can have different files changing different things. The only exception is if you have changes to the same field of the same database entry in multiple files.
