Keep loosing to 4141

Hey

Having terrible results against 4141 and 4222DM. Wondert if any of you had a formation with good succesrate against exactly these two formations, or for that sake just one of them, because I'm about had it.
Playing mid-team, not the worst nor the best, but capable. My defence is the strongest part of my game, and having best succes with counter/control in general so far.

Usual playing 4411 or 451 (3mc and 2 wingers), but have tried almost anything. 352, with wide wingers and three mc's, tried the christimastree (4321 narrow) in order to let their dm be split about where to cover on the field, but yet no luck. Out of 5 games, I've lost 4 and one drawn.

I'd appreciate any comments on the matter, as I'm frutrated as hell. Could be challenging for the top, but if this keeps on, I might be looking down instead.

Rather than look at the formation your opponent uses, have you tried to work out the roles being used against you? A 4-1-4-1 could use a F9 or a Treq who could be pulling your defenders out of position, therefore perhaps scaling back their closing down could help maintain your shape. That's just an example, but if you watch closely during a game, preferably in 2D, you will have the opportunity to see what is happening so you can work out how to counter it.
