Staying overnight in Ely ahead of my mums graduation ceremony at the cathedral tomorrow. We went into a pub overlooking the new Bedford river and had to wait almost an hour for food, when we asked why we was told the place isn't normally this busy...there was literally ten people in whole place.

Well now I have a flight tomorrow afternoon, but nowhere to sleep as all hotels are booked or closed.

Doubt any of you folks are still awake and most of you probably have work in the morning, but if anyone wants to meet up for a pint tomorrow morning I can offer one at BA's expense. Would make this most unwelcome London visit a lot less shit.

And I'd still very much like a couch to sleep on...

I can also offer some French mustard and olives that I won't be able to bring back onto the plane....

I just cannot imagine sharing a pint with you would end with anything other than being drugged and gang raped and possibly sold into slavery.

If you'd decided to get stuck in London next week I'd be around and will have time to kill. Can promise you I've never, to the best of my knowledge, been drugged and gang raped or sold into slavery, so I've got good form there.

Got access to BA's lounge today as compensation for the cancelled flight, it's pretty shit tbh. Just a buffet that is worse than the one at my old job and a bit more fancy furniture.

Free food and drinks are always welcome though.

If I wanted to waste drugs on a guy who'd give up hot ass willingly, have the worst sex of my life, be told the product I'm trying to sell is worthless (oh and share, not have, a pint), then yes that scenario would be accurate.

I mean, I have a track record of consistently not raping members of Sortitoutsi that I have met in real life. One can only look at my attendance at all Susie meet-ups that ever happened, and the lack of assault or indentured service that occurred. At one of those events included Fmgod.

IIRC she'd been ill for a while, could hear it in her voice when she did the voice overs for Gogglebox towards the end. Such a shame, a brilliant comedy writer and actress, and only 52.

While on the subject of prison, Lionel Messi has been sentenced to 21 months in prison. It can be served under probation though so they probably wont go behind bars.

The Chilcot Report wasn't a whitewash like people thought, it was pretty damning but we all knew this stuff seven years ago. I wanted to see Blair stand trial, but that doesn't look likely.

If by 'get away with it' you mean 'have to pay back all the tax, plus a fine on top, and serve 2 years on probation' then yeah you probably could.

Probably easier just to pay it in the first place though, certainly cheaper at any rate.
