Totally United's fault he was shit though.

Made a point of mentioning how we finished fifth and wishing him luck in the Europa League.

Mkhitaryan, Martial, Rashford and Ibrahimovic. This could be beautiful.

Dwight Gayle is a 'proven goalscorer' and Steven Caulker is the rock our defence is crying out for. And of course the Rafa effect - where you're best player fucking off is really a good thing.

Why?
He's scored more goals and got more assists per game for us than Chelsea, and that in two largely hopeless sides with the attacking clout of a wet paper bag. Considering we're in a world where Watford won't sell the likes of Deeney or Igahlo for stupid money then £20m for Mata is an absolute joke fee.

He really isn't that good. Might look a bit better at Everton considering even Ross Barkley can somehow look half decent in that side but he wouldn't be a player I'd like to have at my club. Not really much about him tbh
Ninja
Of course not, but you've got Özil who is certainly a better fit for you and more than likely a better player. That doesn't make Mata a bad player.
We've played our best footy since Ferguson retired the 6 or so games we actually used Mata properly: coming off the right, linking up with Herrera on the inside, and Valencia giving width on the overlap. There's no reason he couldn't replicate that form (either coming off the right or through the centre) with the right players around him.
He's a nice bloke and I hope he finds a club that can utilise him better than we have, but I do maintain that his failure to really hit top form here is as much our fault as his. Either way, in this market, we should be looking to claw back not much less than what we paid for him in the first place.

Pardew blates bought him for the banter as well.

If thats true I can't see Juve really standing in our way, we'll pay what they want.
I don't know whats worse, paying £100m for your own youth product, or not paying it and him going on to be a world beater elsewhere (or the third option of buying him and him flopping).

Juve aren't going to turn down £100M, surely.

The guys a staggering bell whiff, but he was close with the United youth team when Pogba was here (amongst the first to say that both Ravel and Pogba were leaving, and I think was close with Welbeck too) he claims to still be in touch with Pogba, although whether he is or not who knows, and that he's coming back.
On the other hand, he knows that people know that he knows things, and made a sizeable chunk of cash telling people to bet on Ronaldo to Chelsea a couple of seasons back, only to then bet against it when the odds were better.
So who knows? I suspect he does know what Pogba is going to do, but he's definitely trying to have some fun with his followers.

He's quit as Lazio manager after 2 days.

Here's an early indication of the fans' reaction.

He has an impressive scoring record in the French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish leagues consistently getting 20+ goals a season. Not to mention that he is in fact much more of a team player than it seems and his experience and his confident personality will do wonders in a squad that has been bereft of it at times. Yeah the French league isn't strong, and even me as a Utd fan isn't expecting him to set the world alight in the Prem at the age he is. But he is still a great addition for us, a proven finisher which is what we have been sorely lacking. I'm hoping/cautiously optimistic he will have a similar effect on the team to what Van Persie had when he signed for us.

We've already got Eriksen and Alli as attacking midfielders so I doubt we really are. I would've thought that a return to Dortmund or playing for Klopp and Liverpool would be more appealing to him anyway.
Franck
Ibra will make you eat all that shit you just typed out.
The Platypus
No matter how he does at Utd, the man has nothing to prove, he's a legend, and an incredible footballer.
