It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I bought the game and I put the facepacks and logos because in my opinion the game stay better, but today the game updated automatically and my facepacks and logos are gone. What I return my facepacks and logos? Because I play with brazilian's team and with configuration I think better.

Also, press alt+f9 in-game on a player whose photo is no longer there, then attach the resulting screenshot, which can be found in Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2016/screenshots, to your next post.

A quick Google seems to suggest that a program called TextEdit should open xml files. I'm afraid I'm not using an Apple OS so I can't give you this info first-hand.
I'm not exactly sure what help you're asking for. I've opened the config file and there's 7 empty entries, which should be safely deletable. There's also a number of special characters, which I'm not sure if xml files can read. Other than that, all appears fine, but of course it depends on what images you're asking it to point to...

I'm afraid your faces folder is a bit of a mess. You seem to have images of at least 2 different styles (cutouts and DF11) and you definitely have images missing from both megapacks anyway.
First of all, I suggest that you download the 8.0 torrent, after which you download and apply the update packs released since then.
Secondly, if you don't want or can't do this, you need to create a custom config file so that the game can "read" the images. Download fmXML and use the very simple steps shown in this Instruction Video.
Load FM and enter your preferences. Make sure your preferences look like this:

I've downloaded the cut-out megapack for the faces and I noticed that some were missing (e.g. Gianluigi Donnarumma and Jeff Reine-Adelaide), so I tried adding them myself. This isn't the first time I've added faces and I just followed my usual method of using FMXL, when that didn't work I tried opening a previous config file and adding a new line, but that didn't work. So my question is why was I able to add some faces but others such as Donnarumma and Adelaide I can't add?

First of all, I'm not sure which version of the megapack you have downloaded. Both the players you have mentioned were added in update pack 8.0, which leads me to think you are using an older version of the file. In itself, it's not a problem because you should always be able to add new images, but you might as well make sure you are up-to-date with the latest files.
Secondly, if you are using skin caching, then it is my understanding that the game won't take into account any config changes. Make sure that your preferences are set up in this manner:
