It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I had the same problem.If you download the torrent and start downloading click on bitcom options,click on emule2. you must download the emule plugin for your torrent client (I use bitcomet) because you can not download the file without this plugin which is important.The eMule Plugin is only a optional plugin. Please remember that it may not speed up your download because the ED2K network will eat your bandwidth. But it may be very useful to complete your download by finding seeds in the ED2K network if there is no seed in the BitTorrent network. That's why there are no seeds-Because the ED2K is locked,and that is why u can not connect to the source of the torrent file and there are no seeds. In order to normally download it download the plugin and at the right bottom u will see that the edk2 now is connected,and u'l see plenty other seeders. Maybe I will now be punished,cuz of the spoiler.Please don't Hammer !

I am confused because in the instructions it says just install or extract with 7zip it in the graphics folder.But now I saw in the thread I have to install first the 4.0 torrent and some above the line instructions with a new folders in graphics-now I am totally confused !!?? I have no idea what you're saying in the first part of your post.
For the second part, just extract the 9.0 megapack file to anywhere within Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2017 / graphics. If you have downloaded the megapack update files, you need to apply them in the chronological order.

Plenty of people have managed to download it, so it may well be an issue with your internet connection rather than our site. I would suggest you either give it another go, or download the file through torrent, then download the update packs through the site...

Scroll to the bottom of this page until you come to the torrent tabs and download the 9.0 version. To be fully up-to-date, you would still have to download any subsequent update packs separately.
I'm afraid that you would now have to retry to download the file again. An alternative may be to download the torrent file as per the above, as torrents can be stopped and resumed at will.

I downloaded the facepack and put the file in the graphics folder, did the 2 tics in the preferences/interface, cleared cache, reload skin......everything....but faces dont appear, im using Apple.

Going by the screenshot, you have somehow managed to download only a partial amount of the megapack images. You should have over 183,000 images in your megapack folder, and I don't believe you do.

What internet browser do you use? If you use Google Chrome, you should be able to resume your downloads, and would not need Jdownloader or any other apllication.

I can't load the facepack i downloaded from this site, and i don't know what i'm doing wrong. I have followed the tutorial, cleared cached and loaded new skins, but it doesn't show. I have tried to restart the game as well..

I don't know where you downloaded it from, but you clearly did not download the full pack, which should contain around 184,000 images. I'm afraid you're going to have redownload the file, which should be 8.64GB in size in total...

Hmm, sometimes the file pauses partway through the download, which may give the impression it's done. It should be possible to resume it. Do make sure that the final file is8.64GB and that the amount of images within it is 184,000+. Let me know if you have any further issues
