Superb strike from Coutinho last night! So glad he came to our rescue once again!

Three of his last four goals have come from outside the box, he can produce the goods, need a few more of them this season, however would like to see our strikers find the target more than last season!!

Caulker joins Liverpool on loan for the rest of the season. So now Liverpool are even taking loan players from Southampton. Wasn't good enough to break in to the first team there though, and they've hardly been solid.

Caulker and Ilori, the new centre back partnership that strikers fear to come against at fortress Anfield? I'm half expecting it to become one of those legendary partnerships now just because it is so unlikely.

Simon Mignolet has signed a new 5-and-a-half year contract.

Very few people seem impressed by such a decision.

Karius has broken his hand in the friendly against Chelsea and is ruled out for 8-10 weeks! I was hoping, like many, he'd be our number one this season!

As I was driving home from the game I heard two or three of them, and none of them had a Scouse accent and none of them actually attended games I guarantee it - one of them was Welsh.

Tbf there was some valid criticism like Alberto Moreno is wank and Mignolet isn't a good goalkeeper but then someone was saying they'd gotten worse from when Rodgers had them, 'though this same person failed to understand Chris Waddle's point that they lost 4 big players in the summer after they finished 2nd so it would take time to replace them. I think these people just go on to vent and don't want a decent debate; which is probably why Robbie Savage still has a job.

Yeah, Liverpool's so far away from Wales so how is that even possible...

I was just highlighting the fact he was a Liverpool fan and he was Welsh so he wasn't given the best deck of cards to play with.

Well, it went quiet in here !

Where do Liverpool fans see the need to strengthen this off-season then? Personally, I think a striker is still needed. Sturridge just doesn't fit and I think his time should be up. Origi is decent enough for rotation and Ings deserves a chance.

There's always question marks around Mignolet too, so I'm guessing a goalkeeper will be high up on the fans' wishlist too? if not Klopp's.

Good LB, good CB, good DM and either trust Origi / Sturridge or get a good striker.

Happy with the goalkeepers then?

Honestly I don't think either are as terrible as people make out, the fact we haven't had a solid defensive partnership since Carra retired has just made things seem much worse.

Yeah he's not world class but there's no one better out there that will come to us. Sorting out the defence is more of a priority.

Get a solid centre back pairing and so much pressure from the media will be taken off Migs and Karius. Think that is the main area to look at this summer, and offload sturridge because I can't help but think his better days have come and gone unfortunately.

What do Liverpool fans think of Salah then?

Also, is Sahko likely to stay or go?

Sahko probably has his bags pre-packed, from the Reds fans I know he's generally seen as useless.

It's weird, I think he is potentially their best defender at the club?! Okay, they don't have great defenders so it is not saying much, but I still think the fans and the manager should give him a chance.
