It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

back into game, reload skin.

In the folder where you just put your requested faces (I assume these are new to the pack and not just updates), there is a file called config.xml which you need to open in notepad or somesuch. In there you need to add:
<record from="YOUR REQUESTED PLAYER ID HERE" to="graphics/pictures/person/YOUR REQUESTED PLAYER ID HERE/portrait"/>
Where you need to replace YOUR REQUESTED PLAYER ID HERE with the player id. So if your player number was 0 it would look like this:
<record from="0" to="graphics/pictures/person/0/portrait"/>
Then save and reload FM.

It works on a Mac, so I'm afraid it looks like an installation issue from your end. I can't pinpoint what may be wrong from your post, but if you post a screenshot of your megapack folder, then I may be able to tell what's wrong. Can you also tell me the amount of images you have in this folder and the download method you used to get it?

Since there is over 170,000 faces now, can I just download the `latest change` file to get the remaining faces, or I must download all from scratch?

The latest changes file will only give you the images added from 9.05 to 9.06. If you want to be up-to-date, you would need to identify which was the last pack you downloaded, then download all the packs released since then and apply them chronologically.
To be honest, it'll probably be much simpler to download the 9.0 torrent (from the location indicated in the opening post of this thread), and then download and apply update packs 9.01-9.07.
Oh, and there is actually over 180,000 faces now

I downloaded the torrent version 9.0. Do I have to also download version 9.01, 9.02, 9.03, 9.04, 9.05, 9.06, 9.07 to get the latest facepacks?

Never mind i found out it was something in my order of folders in my graphics that was stopping the pics loading
