Sanchez has to go as he doesn't wanna be here, replacement or not. Ozil is only still with us due to no one coming in for him as again if he wanted to play for us he'd sign a new deal.

Wouldn't surprise me if we managed to get Lemar but i do ask myself why would a player of that quality want to come to us right now? And even if we do we'll still be shite in central midfield and just as shite at the back. Probably even more so now seeing as both Mustafi and Chambers don't know if they're coming or going anymore.

I've seen rumours we've offered £90m for Lemar, but then of course you have to think to yourself (which i should have mentioned in previous post) how are Monaco gonna replace him so late so very unlikely. Draxler always sounds good but from what I've seen of him (which isn't a lot to be fair) he's just as likely to be the next Theo Walcott as he is the next Alexis Sanchez. And going by our ability to ruing young promising players Im steering towards another Walcott. Guess i could just watch a Youtube video of him to convince myself he's that good every game.

Don't know how 'real' this is.

Telegraph now say Arsenal and Monaco have agreed a deal for Lemar. With SSN saying Arsenal have made a £92M bid for Lemar.

It's funny how Pogba for £89m last summer was earth shattering and now look what's happened this summer.

Fucking hell that is a lot! Hope he flops.

Monaco are doing amazing business wise. What a turnaround they made!

Guardian now saying Lemar to Arsenal isn't happening due to there not being enough time, and hence Sanchez stays.

Could someone explain why the PL wouldn't let Sanches wear the number 85?

So after the hype of Van Dijk, Lemar, Draxler we're not gonna bring anyone else in and probably lose Coutinho. GG

For fuck's sake we were linked with Lemar for half that earlier in the window.

It's all smoke and mirrors this shit, while Kroenke funnels the Chamberlain money to build his new fucking stadium in fucking Los fucking Angeles.

Fucking cunt.

According to Sky he had Koscielny and Lacazette knocking on his hotel door to persuade him to join Arsenal too and he flat out said no Probably little truth to it but still...

Newcastle are having a good day.

Sell everyone and don't buy anyone.

It's actually banter that we're going to have Lovren, Matip, Klavan and Gomez if you count him as our centre backs for 50+ game season.

Although could be worse, could be Arsenal.

Newcastle obviously weren't gonna sign someone tbf. Like no one has even been seriously linked.

Transfer window is mental. People saying Newcastle did worse than Swansea who sold they're two best players.

Replacing Gylfi and an injured Llorente with Sanches and Bony isn't too bad!

Whereas Newcastle just shifted people out on loan?

I see why players wouldn't joing Arsenal, just as I understood last year when no one wanted to come to us. But this summer we have shown how badly our club is run. 3 injuries and we are screwed.

Well Newcastle signed five first teamers - and shifted out unwanted squad members.

Bony was completely wretched in a poor Stoke side - and Sanches seems to have dropped off a cliff. They both could come good. - But I would rather have last seasons two best performers.

Fantastic window, managed to keep hold of our most wantaway player after being offered very good money considering his contract. No doubt he'll be delighted with this and give 110% in every match like always this season. His teammates will also I'm sure be delighted seeing him back in training.

But the real bonus is that despite breaking our transfer record on new substitute striker Alexander Lacazette, we still made an overall profit of nearly £20m, great stuff.

If anyone needs fucking proof that agents ruin football you should really watch this video. Bleach Reports documented our deadline day on Thursday.

I think most people have know that for a long time. Agent fees are so high and they prioritise themselves getting reach and not what the players want.

Which is why as a club we are only able to sign the desperate and the aging. The Oystons will not deal with agents, which almost seems like a good thing until you realise that it's through their own greed rather than anything honourable.

VVD has finally signed! Talk about a transfer saga, honestly didn't think we'd get him after City were interested. All my Southampton fan friends are so salty

Why would they be salty? I'd be happy with the extra money (if they actually buy some decent players).

Well I can understand that obviously.

What do you think of the fee? Too much?
