Wouldn't surprise me if we managed to get Lemar but i do ask myself why would a player of that quality want to come to us right now? And even if we do we'll still be shite in central midfield and just as shite at the back. Probably even more so now seeing as both Mustafi and Chambers don't know if they're coming or going anymore.

I've seen rumours we've offered £90m for Lemar, but then of course you have to think to yourself (which i should have mentioned in previous post) how are Monaco gonna replace him so late so very unlikely. Draxler always sounds good but from what I've seen of him (which isn't a lot to be fair) he's just as likely to be the next Theo Walcott as he is the next Alexis Sanchez. And going by our ability to ruing young promising players Im steering towards another Walcott. Guess i could just watch a Youtube video of him to convince myself he's that good every game.

It's funny how Pogba for £89m last summer was earth shattering and now look what's happened this summer.

Monaco are doing amazing business wise. What a turnaround they made!

It's all smoke and mirrors this shit, while Kroenke funnels the Chamberlain money to build his new fucking stadium in fucking Los fucking Angeles.
Fucking cunt.
King Luis

According to Sky he had Koscielny and Lacazette knocking on his hotel door to persuade him to join Arsenal too and he flat out said no

Sell everyone and don't buy anyone.

Carroll.
Although could be worse, could be Arsenal.
Sam
That is fucking amazing.

Transfer window is mental. People saying Newcastle did worse than Swansea who sold they're two best players.
Grimnir
Replacing Gylfi and an injured Llorente with Sanches and Bony isn't too bad!
Whereas Newcastle just shifted people out on loan?
chokosc
Shola
Well Newcastle signed five first teamers - and shifted out unwanted squad members.
Bony was completely wretched in a poor Stoke side - and Sanches seems to have dropped off a cliff. They both could come good. - But I would rather have last seasons two best performers.

But the real bonus is that despite breaking our transfer record on new substitute striker Alexander Lacazette, we still made an overall profit of nearly £20m, great stuff.

I think most people have know that for a long time. Agent fees are so high and they prioritise themselves getting reach and not what the players want.
Grimnir
Which is why as a club we are only able to sign the desperate and the aging. The Oystons will not deal with agents, which almost seems like a good thing until you realise that it's through their own greed rather than anything honourable.

Why would they be salty? I'd be happy with the extra money (if they actually buy some decent players).
King Luis
They're always salty about us signing their players (at least the Saints fans i know)
chokosc
Well I can understand that obviously.
What do you think of the fee? Too much?
