Not remotely tall enough.

I guess. His physique doesn't suit the club but he's proven for two seasons that he can produce in the top flight.
His creativity and technique on the wing would give a boost to their lack of goals, I'd love to see Crouch make use of his crosses.

Wouldn't be surprised... Especially after this game, if they asked for extra money for them to take Torres off our hands.

£12m isn't that bad a deal. If he stays for 3-4 years and bags 10 goals a season then he's worth it.

Of course, but that argument could be made for literally everyone.

I'm surprised they went for expensive English, with a very questionable attitude chucked in too boot, over a cheaper foreign option again.

Pato has finally signed for Corinthians. €15M, four year deal.

I hope he does well, he could have been an incredible striker had it not been for the injuries.

I'd be surprised if Milan failed to put in some sort of buy back clause in their deal for Pato. Ideally he manages to stay fit in Brazil and rebuilds his career for 12/18 months or so then comes back to Milan with Corinithians pocketing a tidy profit for rehabilitating him.

Edit: Corinthians signed 60% of his rights with Pato retaining the other 40% in place of a signing on fee.

Molde defender Vegard Forren is apparently very close to signing for an unnamed European side. SkySports are claiming the club is Fulham, but other sources around Molde have denied this. The transfer is expected to be announced very soon anyway. Could be Everton, maybe?
