It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hmmm, have you tried shutting the game down, turning Steam off, then loading it all up again? Have you tried reloading the cache?
What do you get in-game? Is it the default black cut or is it a blank space?

I tried everything I could think of, including shut down of steam and pc.
I just get the logos and faces that are included with the game...
Here's a screenie of my settings at the moment:
edit: Maybe it is because I moved the "My Documents" folder to another drive? (but still, my tactics / filters etc. are loading) Im going to try and create a "fake" my documents folder on my C drive and copy everything to it.

Just one question, which app would you recommend to extract the images because I'm having trouble using winrar with it not responding all the time

The pack seems to reload coorectly but all the faces are blurry

The file was created with winrar so it's the program I'd suggest. If you have a computer a bit on the slow side, you may experience periods where it appears not to be responding. This is because of the time needed to extract the images. It's an 8.something GB file, after all. May take you an hour or two to extract, I reckon...

I tried installing this facepack, and now I can't play FM18 anymore, have reinstalled it twice and reinstalled steam as well...

Did you place them in the Steam folder perchance instead of the Documents folder as clearly indicated in all the installation instructions?

What do you get in-game? Is it the default black cut or is it a blank space?
All I get is the black cut out faces. I installed the sortitoutsi folder into the Document > FM18 > graphics folder. The kits and logos work fine in the same place, which is weird. I've deleted and downloaded the .rar file twice and still get the same issue.

That doesn't look to me like the correct folder. Can I have a screenshot of where you have placed it? And how large is your megapack folder? In terms of folder size and amount of images.

I'm using 9.0 megapack for FM17, it is working fine, however it is not displaying Reiss Nelson face, and a few others from my Arsenal youth, I've tried to download his face individually and paste it into the folder, but it still now working as it is showing only default black picture. Can anyone help me how to fix it? I've tried 2 different pics and nothing.

It's probably easier to download the whole 10.0 torrent at this point tbh

Because the 9.0 pack did not have his face as he was only added in the 9.01 update pack. And if just added him without updating the config, then the game simply doesn't have the tools to display him.
Read this thread for instructions on how to change the config file yourself. Do take a backup of your present config file in case you mess it up, though

My logo's and kit work fine i just have an issue with the face pack.
My folder is C:\Users\myname.Laptop\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2018\graphics
Have also changed the launch options in steam to --user_data_location="<C:\Users\myname.Laptop\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2018>"
Any idea on why the faces are not working? just get the black cut out and in-game license faces.
People have said they found a solution - if they could share that would be a great help!

I'm afraid you must not have installed this pack or some other graphical pack incorrectly. Where have you placed the facepack please? Can you upload a screenshot of the folder?

Thanks for the reply - i just installed the latest update (10.0) and just see if their images on the players within that pack work before copying my whole images over as it takes a good 2+ hours.
