A big congratulations to @DNZY for his [FM17] Climing Jacob's Ladder (Part Deux) career which has won our 'Football Manager 2017 story of the year' award and therefore bagged himself a free copy of FM18! (Thankfully he hadn't already purchased it! :bombomtish

As a staff member on the site over the last few years its very rare we see many long term saves, even more so where the writer is experience lesser known countries and thats exactly what DNZY has done here to keep us entertained along the way. He had a set plan and wasn't going to move on from each country till he had done it. The career, which is still ongoing and currently in 2039 has seen him visit Andorra, San Marino, Gibraltar, Faroe Islands, Malta, Wales, Northern Ireland and Lithuania as well as manage the Iraq national side.

Of course he's not had it all his own way and has come up against some tough battles and even the odd sacking in Wales a fair few years ago now. But hes continued to battle on and fire out updates keeping us all entertained along the way. Its what we really look for on the career section these days.

Once again, well done @DNZY

a cracking career to follow and it proved to be an outright favorite winner from myself and @Shedender! Enjoy your free copy of FM18 where I hope we see more is this sort of journey from yourself.
