It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

At the end of the process, you should have one folder (and one folder only) with over 122,000 images (if you've downloaded 5.03) and a config.xml. Can you confirm this is the case?

First time poster so apologies if in the wrong place. I'm a technological novice but managed somehow to download (for the first time) the previous Megapack (5.2) which added loads of player faces.
However I found it also removed lots of first team player faces that I had in my original save (at FC Copenhagen). Is that correct or have I made some schoolboy error? My real life team is Reading and I also see that only a couple of players have their faces, which seems odd as they are (at least until May) in the EPL.
Would appreciate any advice (but please keep it simple if you can). Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, first time poster but i've been using the megapacks for some time... just like Eds above me my download keeps cutting out and saying Network error after it reaches various points, must have happened 5 or 6 times now. I'm now trying to do it by downloading the 5.0 torrent ( which is taking an age - do you know how long it should roughly take?) and downloading the individual 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 updates. I think if i extract them in that order it should still work fine?
Don't suppose anyone knows why the full download for 5.3 keeps cutting out?

Connection is excellent according to Windows, and internet speed is 72mb/s (is that any good by the way?)
Right now its saying about 2 hours.. and its been cutting out at various different stages, sometimes its 1gb in sometimes 3... last time it made it to 5.2 then stopped.. the file was in my downloads folder so i assumed it must have been partially downloaded, but when i tried to extract it it said the file wasnt supported by my extracter (it was a .rar and my extractor is IZArc)
I downloaded the Logopack with success earlier and that worked fine, as did the fix for the fake names. To be honest i'm baffled.
EDIT: Just did a check to see if 72 mbps is typical and most answers on the internet seemed to be lower, so i used this website http://speedtest.net/ which told me my download speed is 3.5mbps... thats whilst downloading the 5.0 torrent currently.

Mine usually says ~2hours and takes just over 30 minutes to get the network error - it's always at the same point. When I was trying the 5.2 megapack, it was always after 1.4GB had been downloaded (out of 5.4GB), but now on the 5.3 pack it's at 1.3GB (out of 5.3GB).

Press print screen on your keyboard, then open Paint and paste it in there. Then attach it to a post of yours in here.
Make sure that you have the whole file directory path showing and that the amount of images in the folder is clearly displayed.

Thanks for the help. Downloaded the latest version. Absolutely no problem, all files present, folder is the right size. Took an awful long time to download (over 1 full day) but has been well worth the wait.

a) The EXACT location...people SAY they put it where they are meant to, but on further inspection they often put it in the Program files route rather than My docs...
b) That you HAVE un-ticked "Use Skin Cache" and ticked "always reload on confirm" in prefs...again people SAY it.....
c) That you have the config file and all the images INSIDE a single folder and there are no other folders within this single folder
