Not a surprise if true. If he does leave (which seems likely by all reports), he'll probably move aboard. I don't think he'd be the sort of player that would play for another EPL side at this stage.
I wouldn't say we don't need strengthening in the attacking midfield area. Ideally two players for every position are needed. We've already seen just how badly we struggle once Mata and Hazard are left out. Oscar for me isn't good enough to play in behind like Mata does, while Marin is still largely unknown. Another attacking option in that area wouldn't be a bad thing. Would also mean never having to hopefully see Ramires or Bertrand play wide either.
That said, it shouldn't be a priority either.
