It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I am a premium member and tried to download the Cut Out faces megapack twice today. Both times it said "failed" afterwards. But I have two files that together have around 9.3 GB (as it should have altogether). So is that something I will be able to work with? If yes, how? Just extracting one after another? Doesn't sound promising.
And if no, what should I do? Try again and again until it works?

Probably a silly question but do the updated changes go in sub-folders inside the main pack or do I just extract the rar into the main pack

Both appear to be partial downloads, and they cannot be combined. What you should do is download the pack with Chrome, then resume the download when it stops
You should have only 1 folder with no sub-folders, and all the cuts should be contained within this folder. If you install each pack correctly, you should be prompted to overwrite some files, to which you should click Yes/OK.

That's probably because you've put it in a sub-folder. You should have one folder, and one folder only, with all the cuts in there.

I havent updated since 10.01 and tried downloading the last 3 installments.
.02 and .04 were fine. But the 10.03 decides to stop downloading at around a quarter to half way through, no matter which source I download from.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get around this?

What browser are you using? Chrome allows you to resume interrupted downloads from the point they were stopped - that should help

I've tried clearing cache, reloading skin, un-ticking "skin cache" or whatever it is called, and deleting settings and letting Steam rebuild the file. Nothing makes a difference. I am on Win 8.1.

Did you add the latest update pack perchance? Have you put in a separate folder within the main MP folder?
If yes, just put the contents of the update pack in the main folder, overwriting when prompted, and you should be fine.

I didn't change anything with regars to the packs. Just suddenly it stopped working. And the only thing I figure that might have changed is the official patch from SI being automatically downloaded and installed via Steam somewhere in the last 14 days.
The contents are within the "graphics" folder. In root of this folder I have folders "Iconfaces", "faces", "kits", and "metallic logos". It worked flawlessly before.
If someone can give me a "checklist" of everything to try that would be appreciated.

That number looks to be a bit strange to me.
10.00 contained 192,442 images.
10.01 took the MP image total to 193,601.
10.02 took the MP headcount to 195,238.
10.03 then took the number to 197,031 and 10.04 to 198,836.
As you can see, the amounts don't quite match. The closest I can tell is that you downloaded 10.02, which had some of the images in the MP deleted automatically (duplicates, wrong UIDs) etc.
Can you right-click on your config file and tell me the date it was modified? It should correspond to one of the dates in which update packs were released, and may help me assess what the issue is.
I can't tell in the config you attached because the data modified is the date I downloaded, which renders the exercise pointless
Also, what I really need is a screenshot of inside your megapack folder please - displaying clearly the inner folder structure.

config file was last modified 6th January 2018 (I assume right around the time the faces stopped working). Now that I think of it, I might have fiddled with this file when trying to add Mads Solbakken's face into the game. Can someone send me the new original config file?

That's the latest config-file. If you want to add faces that are missing, I would recommend creating a folder inside your faces folder and have your own config-file in there. Which makes it easier to fix if something goes wrong

And what's the date created? Either way, as Swedie suggests, I would download 10.0, 10.01, 10.02, 10.03 and 10.04, and apply them in chronological order. This would ensure you have the latest images and the right config file
I can't seem to find a Mads Solbakken in the database. If you want to add a player's cutout, I would strongly suggest putting it in a separate folder and create a separate config file. This would mean that the megapack and your cutout can thus operate in parallel...

Looks to me like you have not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it, somehow. You should have 198,000+ images in your megapack folder if you have downloaded all the update packs. How many do you have?

I've dowloaded "sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_10.03_changes.rar" and "sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_10.04_changes.rar" with 132 mb + 127 mb. I assume this is not correct.

You assume correctly. You should first download the main 10.0 megapack file (instructions on how to download it via torrents can be found in the opening post). Once downloaded and installed, you should then download update packs 10.01, 10.02, 10.03 and 10.04 and apply them in chronological order.
