It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

As said earlier, you need to have over 200,000 images in your megapack folder. You clearly don't have the full megapack, and I have no way of knowing which update packs you have missed out. The best way to be sure you are up-to-date is to download the 10.0 torrent file, followed by the 10.01-10.05 update packs.

I'm afraid that, since you've got 10,000 less images, then you must have either not applied the files you downloaded correctly or missed out on a few without realizing.
As explained, the best way to be sure you're up-to-date is to download the 10.0 torrent file, followed by the 10.01-10.05 update packs

Which ones? Have you added them to your megapack folder yourself or are they part of an update pack? Is the black default face displayed or is there a blank space?

it's a case of saving some of them individually from "search cut out faces" rather than as part of packs.

The game doesn't recognise the files just because you paste them in the correct folder. You also need to edit the config file accordingly, as it's the config file which maps the cuts to the right person in-game. A guide on how to change the config file can be found in this thread

When I'm trying to download the full face pack, I keep getting network errors saying that the network connection has been lost? I've attempted at least 5 times to download the pack the failure can come anywhere between 1Gb d/l and 6Gb d/l. All other packs I've downloaded have worked perfectly. Any ideas?

If you download it using Chrome, then you should be able to resume the interrupted download at the spot it was terminated...

Cheers for the suggestion. Tried it multiple times today using both Safari and Chrome and still failing though. Nightmare! Any other suggestions?

Unfortunately not. Just says network connection disconnected (which it isn't at my end) and no option to resume. Then with Safari, when I try to resume the download I get the notification that I don't have permission to do so.

There is an option to resume download in Chrome, but I can't get to see it yet as the download's working fine at my end
iirc in the bottom bar where the download is displayed, there is an arrow to the right of the download which would give you the option to resume. Can you send me a screenshot of what happens in your case please?

Yes, sure. If you want to be up-to-date, just download all the update packs released since then, but your existing images should work just fine anyway.
