It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I used mostly the depotnet or whatever mirror choice, but some could have been upload.net, have I got some duplicates by accident? Also said it was 9.7gb or somewhere near, I have used 75.8GB, is this normal after unzipping? File I created in graphics contains 1,811.058 files? Any help would be greatly appreciated to get remainded faces. Thanks kindly

That UID is not from the default FM database and is probably added in a custom editor data file. UIDs are fixed for players in SI's database and variable for anything else. That said, it's not clear what's your problem - can you post screenshots?
I have no idea how you have ended up with 75GB's worth of faces and over 1.8M faces. I suggest you delete everything and download the torrent file. Instructions on where and how to do so are in the opening post of this thread. You will then need to download update packs 10.01 - 10.07 and apply them in order.There is also a video showing you how to do so here so make sure you follow the steps shown in there

I am having trouble with the cut out mega pack. I have both a mac and PC and play FM18 on PC
Anyway if i try and unzip the full 10gb file on my PC using Winzip Universal it opens the file and says it has just over 407 thousand files in it but if i try to unzip to a specific folder it gives me an error saying access denied canot create files or folder etc ?
also if i download it on my mac and open it on my mac it unzips ok but if i then transfer it to my PC via copying it to hard drive etc it reads as a 707 thousand files etc so what gives ?
can anyone shed any light and advise me on this ?

I have been thinking about it for quite sometime...
Is there a way for us to select only the pic files for players and staff currently in the database we use?
I have a feeling that a pack of 200 000 files might affect game speed and i doubt we use a database in our saves close to 200 000 people.
Any tips on that?

First of all, graphics added to the game won't affect game speed as they are cached.
Secondly, there is no way to categorise cuts automatically as far as I know. Especially because it's not a one-time thing. People irl transfer in and out of clubs, divisions and/or nations and staff members move. Short of manually saving cuts, there's no way to provide a smaller database. And where does it stop? Do you just want the Spanish, French, English, Italian and German top tiers? What if Fulham get promoted and Stoke relegated what happens then? What if Levante buy a Greek international from Panathinaikos, or if Frankfurt's coach is an Argentine? And so on and so forth. That's not even considering the fact that players and staff in your game will move around, so you will have gaps pretty soon after starting the game.
Will anybody ever see more than a relatively small proportion of the 200k+ cuts in the megapack? Almost certainly not - but the small proportion I'll see will almost certainly not overlap with yours' or with your mates'. It makes no sense to have a bespoke megapack imo, especially with the work involved in doing so...
