Fantastic
Chin up mate, in about forty years you'll be dead.

I'm pretty sure, and a quick search of my username alongside the word Shelvey would have cleared this up for you, that my entire argument centered around the fact that whilst both players made bad tackles, Shelvey was the player that was sent off because he made greater contact with Evans and had left the ground more, and used greater force, which was why his was deemed red card worthy at the time.
Not that Evans tackle was perfectly legal, because it wasn't, it was shit.

Referees are instructed that when a player goes into a challenge with both feet off the ground he is not in control of his actions and must be dismissed as he is endangering the safety of an opponent. "
blah blah..
Oh and Vidic was offside yesterday, but apparently Webb was pro-Liverpool..
Telegram Sam
How could you expect Webb to see that?
Firstly, it's the linesman's job, and secondly. it was incredibly tight and not that clear even on second viewing.
Dutton
And Webb was terrified of looking bias towards United thanks to the bollocks that's been spouted all week, the Reina incident in particular was ridiculous.

You couldn't even tell it hit Vidic to start with let alone that he was fractionally offside (not even sure he was). Like Dutton said, Webb was terrified of doing anything that could make him look pro-United. There were loads of minor things throughout the match, then Skrtel and Johnson should have walked and we possibly should've had a penalty.

When does Barton not look like an arsehole?

Yeah but there's a difference between coming out of an argument and not looking like an arsehole

Makes you wonder whether he had that in the back of his mind all game and was influencing some of his decisions.
What annoys me is that the media are ignoring the fact that Arsenal fans get ripped off everywhere. £62 was the CHEAPEST ticket for us on Sunday against City, and we also get ripped off on our travels. Norwich charged us £60, fucking Norwich.
Also, Arsenal fans had to pay £59 when we went to City earlier in the season (£3 difference) so don't know why some City fans are targeting us. It's clearly a problem with all clubs taking the piss.
Slashman X
It's purely due to the fact that City fans refused to pay it and sent the tickets back, that's why it hit the media.
bluemoon.
They were targeting Arsenal because Arsenal happened to be charging for the most expensive away ticket of the season so far. I haven't seen or heard anybody say Arsenal are the only club doing this. It shouldn't be a club v. club issue.
AFC
Most expensive by about £2, but yeah something needs to be done to cap the prices of tickets, or at the very least away ticket prices. No away fans in a ground means a very shit atmosphere (which would stop some home fans going). Emirates is bad enough as it is but I dread the day no away fans turn up, would be awful.
Away days are expensive enough with travel so ridiculous ticket prices make them even less attractive.
