It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Also, what packs do you have? It could be that some of them are clashing with each other. We know for sure that the Faces Megapack is fine, so maybe if you have other Facepacks in the route folder this may be a problem....

I would like to update it to the newest version which contains more faces.
My current megapack contains 90,197 faces. Any ideas what one it is so that I can download the appropriate file/s.

Yes being a Premium Member gives you direct access to our servers so each update can be downloaded directly.

You need to have a config file in there as it is what makes the game assign the images to the respective players.
When you say ALL the images, how many do you mean? I only ask so that I can be sure that you do indeed have them all, which in my experience is not necessarily the case. We would then advise you on how to create or download the right config file.

There's 120,541 pictures or something like that, definitely over 120k. But there's no config file anywhere, I actually remember deleting it, I thought it just had the instructions on how to install everything. That's probably it, is there any way I can download the file on it's own?

You might need to clear your cache.
Keep in mind, however, that the game comes with some images already, for Spanish and Dutch teams and for English divisions lower than the Championship for example, and these will display nonetheless.

I have followed the steps to install the facepacks and then gone onto preferences etc etc, but they still don't show, is this because i dont appear to have the 'Config' file in the folder, how can i get hold of the config folder?

But, it deleted all the faces originally in the game, for some reason there were no faces from the championship and the spanish league etc.....

Ah, have i missed something? I just added the new files from the update into the original mega pack. I opted to replace files that were already in there.... where are the instructions?

It says on the first page, in the title and lots of other places that there are over 100,000 images....
I suggest you download either 5.0 torrent and apply each update in order or download the most recent Complete Pack HERE - it will take a while as it's over 5gb

I am very pleased and surprised to say that it has worked fine this time and it makes the game so much more enjoyable. Now I can pick a team to manage based on actual preference rather than on who has the most player images!
