We defended really well up until the end, it was De Gea's error but to be honest if we didn't have him in goal that equaliser could have been a winner.

If we defend that well every game then the league is ours quite frankly.

It hurts conceding a late goal there's a lot of positives to take. We haven't really got a hard match until April. We've played the four teams below us away from home and got 10 points out of 12.

Didnt Cazorla spend most of his time at Malaga and Villarreal on the left?

Spent time out wide for both teams but he drifted in a lot more and he was generally more central to both team's play.

I hate United just as much as I hate Spurs, and I'd rather see City win the league than United. A draw is a perfect result.

Embarrassing.

Carrick, Welbeck and Rio were ace, Rafael kept Bale fairly quiet too. But yeah considering the away games we've played and got results from I suppose I'll take this. Still feel aggrieved/robbed especially considering the penalty.

Jones had probably his best game in midfield for us as well.

And De Gea made about 3 world class saves.

It was an odd game that, though, we should have had a penalty and been 2-0 up (although lets be honest, we'd probably have missed it) but I don't think we actually had a shot on target second half. I thought we were excellent defensively, and pretty mediocre going forward yet I also thought Welbeck and Kagawa had pretty good games and RVP scored and we left Dempsey unmarked for their goal.

A game of contradictions that one.

I don't care who wins it out of those two really as its not like we're challenging with them, but I'd certainly like to think we can get in the Champions League and even more importantly just finish above Tottenham.

Surely you'd cheer a United win as Spurs winning or drawing gives them the advantage in the 4th place pursuit...

I can't ever bring myself to support United with van Persie in their side. I don't care if it's not logical or pragmatic, I just can't.

Apparently someone on TalkSport (the phone in bit) said to Stan Collymore "Lampard hit that penalty like you hit Ulrika, Stan".

Naivety and inexperience I guess.

He love attacking, he does it too often sometimes, hopefully he'll get better at it.

Ferguson should be banned for what he said... Shouldn't be able to go around saying the linesman wasn't doing his job!

But I am thrilled Spurs scored, anything but United is good. And in the 90th minute, something that United usually do! Damn, that makes it a hell lot better!

No chance. I'd be surprised if he even got charged.

He made sure that he qualified it, and said he had a poor game- and he really did. Anyone who watched the game would have seen that.

Even if he had a bad game (I haven't seen it) a lot of the managers that mention it get charged. This won't be the first time Ferguson escapes any sort of punishment.

Fergie said the lino had a bad game, we got nothing down that side and he was dissapointed. Don't see how the FA can charge him for that, managers get away with that all the time. It's when you question their integrity. He also said Spurs played well and deserved a draw. But go ahead, get your knickers in a twist and have a little cry about big bad Fergie.

Come on - he got away with coming within a few lines of punching the ref at the start of the 2nd half of the Man U-Newcastle game in December and got away with that. Like criticism of the lino is going to register on the FA's radar.

Because the referee said he wasn't insulting or abusive.

Lets not let facts get in the way of a good story though.

Talking of facts, the only thing he said that was contentious (I thought) was that we haven't had much luck from that lino and he's the one who missed Drogba's ridiculously offside goal against us, the implication is obvious, but I don't think you can ban someone for observing things.

Obviously photos made it look a lot worse than it ultimately was but I daresay he probably wasn't far off verging into insulting/abusive territory, which is always a risk in heat of the moment reactions.
