It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

You should be fine then. To be sure you're up-to-date, check your faces folder. You should have over 241,000 images in there without sub-folders.

You can use whichever version you like. The more recent the version you use, the more images you have naturally.

I'm trying to open the config file for the normal sized face pics in Notepad++ but it's saying the file is too big to open? It's only 17.5mb, and the config file for the icon pics opens without any issues (16.5mb)

The external links are generated automatically, so we don't really have any control over them. I should be releasing update pack 12.04 in the coming days, can you check the link once I do in case the wrong one is then corrected?
Also, if that is still a problem, perhaps you can download the torrent instead
I've never had any problem opening them using plain Notepad. Could be that Notepad++ has an issue with files over a certain size...

It looks to me an issue with your internet connection, I'm afraid. I'm getting 4MB/s download and my internet speed isn't the greatest.
As it's such a large file, the chances of a brief interruption happening naturally increase. If you use Google Chrome, it should be possible to resume the download from the point where it was interrupted, rather than downloading it again from scratch.

Alternatively, try later today or tomorrow. I uploaded the files for the latest update pack yesterday and it may be that the process affected your download speed...

Well, I am on vacation at my family's house, so maybe it is the internet. However, when I try to resume it, it won't work after failing. So maybe I should just wait to get home, although I don't think their internet is all that bad...perhaps my computer is just acting up because of the new wifi or something. Anyways, thank you for the help! I'll come back if it still doesn't work within the next days.

I'm sorry but it's not clear what you're trying to say. If you're having issues with extracting the complete 13.89 GB file, I suggest using Winrar. Make sure the file has downloaded fully.

Windows has a small bar at the bottom listing how many files are in a folder. It's not the same on a Mac.
The reason I asked is that I thought you may not have downloaded the full megapack, which should contain 244,000+ images and a file named config.xml, which is the file which tells the game what image to assign to which player. As it's absent, the game cannot know which images to display...
Can you check how many images in total you have? My advice will depend on the answer

'Faces' has a total of 1.79 GB for 29,170 items and 'facesicon' has 338.6 MB for 244,265 items. They do not add up to a total of 14.91 GB. By the way, thank you so much Mons for helping me right now! Should I extract the downloaded file again? What is your advice?

The iconfaces folder is fine, but the faces folder is lacking over 200,000 images. No wonder it isn't working
How large is the file you have downloaded? If it's 13.89GB, then extract it again. If it isn't, then you need to re-download it all.

Only the base pack is available via torrent. For the update packs, you can only download them via the mirrors.
