It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

You need close to 14GB space to store the images in this megapack. If you don't have that much space available, I'm afraid it looks like you can't have the faces

It's working fine for me, so the issue is something at your end. Could be an issue with an extension blocking downloads? Try using Chrome in incognito mode and see if downloading works that way.

When you download the file, save it to a non-temporary folder (such as your Downloads and/or Documents folder). Also, try using Google Chrome to downloading. The download has been known to occasionally interrupt half-way, which may be the cause of this issue as well, and Google Chrome allows resuming downloads

MacBooks to the best of my admittedly very little knowledge cannot extract multiple files into one big file. I downloaded all 15 parts of the Megapack 12.0 and I now have 15 individual files. Okay, that sucks.. but i do have an old, slow and almost useless windows laptop. I put the files on there, unzip into one big file and... the damn thing is so slow after 9 hours it had copied 4% to my USB...
After some playing about I manage to zip the large file up, and I've put that onto my MacBook. Problem is, now no app i use will unzip this file.. for whatever reason. I've tried Winzip - nope. The Unarchiver gets all the way through the process... and then no files show up on my Mac. Nothing.
Has anyone who used a mac before ran into this type of problem? I have all 15 parts zipped into one file on my mac.. but nothing is working for me. If i can extract that, then i'll have the Megapack ready to use... i'm not tech savvy, and i'm almost certain the solution is staring me right in the face, but until then i thought i would ask on here.

Does anyone have a simple instruction on how the folders are supposed to be alligned? Perhaps a picture? I've got logos from Footbe Logos 2019-20 also downloaded and they are working fine.

After trying to tick both "Reload skin when confirming in Preferences" and "Use caching to decrease page loading times" several times, I finally thought that maybe I should do them one at a time. So I unticked both, confirmed, ticked "reload skin etc", confirm and then the caching decrease + confirm. Now everything's as it should. So if anyone's having the same issue as me, remember to tick off the settings one at a time.

It could well be an GUI issue caused by the new patch. If you try a different skin with the same zoom level, does the issue still occur? If yes, then it's definitely a GUI issue and should be reported to SI on the official forums so that they can tackle it. I doubt it's related to this megapack, though.

Today my steam updated FM 2020 and after that faces are gone. It has worked until today perfectly, same logic as you have described. I have tried pretty much everything to find out what's the problem but can't solve it by myself.
Boxes are checked correctly, faces have been in my computer since I don't even know when, have updated them time by time, tried to reset setting etc, but still, the same thing. I also have .xml file in my folder.
EDIT: Some faces are still showing but not many. So that's even weirder.
Any idea?

Folder size and location looks fine but I'm not sure about the amount of files. There are around 247,000 cuts in the megapack, so you look to have almost twice as much.
Can I see a screenshot of the properties of the faces folder? Are there any sub-folders in there?

You seem to have an older version of the megapack on your PC, possibly 11.0 going by the amount of files. Try downloading the 12.0 base megapack via torrent (and also the 12.01 - 12.05 update packs individually) to have a larger selection of player faces. Though it isn't the reason why faces don't display, updating the config file may help.
Can you give me screenshots of how the faces look in-game? Especially of a face which was displaying before but isn't now. Try changing the skins to see if the issue resolves itself this way.
What do your in-game preferences look like, particularly the "use caching..." tickbox?

It's older, obviously through like I said, I have updated it since then.
I have tried to change skins, tickboxes, everything. Just some players have faces, some don't.

It's just like that. I just don't like the idea I need to download the same things 11GB all over again. Otherwise, even if I do that, it's just too weird that it just "stopped working", when literally nothing was changed.

Interestingly that face isn't Gravenbech's cut-out in this pack (and it never has been in the megapack) but I believe it's SI's default cut-out for him. I suspect this means that none of this pack's cut-outs are working.
So, can I have a screenshot of your in-game preferences? Also, could you upload the config file in your faces folder?

Update - I downloaded a new version of megapack and it started working. So I think .xml was corrupted? Or something like that.
