It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

These are all the Arsenal cut-outs in the megapack and these are Brentford's. In both cases, all the players have cut-outs but some staff members don't.
This means that you either didn't install the megapack correctly or you didn't download the full megapack. How many images do you have in your megapack folder and can I have a screenshot of it please? This will help me possibly pinpoint the issue.

Given the folder size and the amount of files included within it as indicated within your screenshot, it seems like you didn't download the full pack. Download the torrent file for the 12.0 megapack and the 12.01 - 12.06 update packs to be fully up-to-date

Once downloaded and extracted there is 2 folders one if faces and the other is icon faces which is the correct one because together they do not work but the faces folder doesn't have enough files in there to be the one I downloaded.

I've moved your posts to here. Both the faces and iconfaces folder are intended to work in parallel and there shouldn't be any problems to have them both in your graphics folder, which is why both are included in the download.
Both folders should include a shade under a quarter of a million files each. If they don't, it's likely that you either downloaded an update pack instead of the full pack, or that your download was interrupted at some point meaning you only have a partial folder...

Can you upload a screenshot of your faces folder then please? Showing clearly the folder path and amount of files in it please. Do you have a folder titled config.xml in your faces folder?
Also if possible a screenshot of how a player looks like in-game, a player which you would normally expect to have a cut-out.

You're almost there, not much far to go.
Remove the file you've downloaded from the graphics folder and put it in the Downloads folder for now.
Download WinRar and install it.
Go to Downloads and open the file you downloaded with Winrar. There will be a faces and iconfaces folder - put them in the faces folder you've already created within Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2020 / graphics.
This will take a fair while. Once it's done, load FM20 and make sure the preferences are as indicated in the opening post.
That should be it.

now i have downloaded the file, but when i want to open it with winrar it asks for an password. where can i find this password, as i am an premium member?

Are you sure that you've downloaded the correct file? How big is it in terms of filesize? This file is not password protected, never has been and never will be as long as I'm involved with the project, so I suspect that either the file didn't fully download or that something happened during the download.

Looks like you may installed 12.07 in a separate folder. You should have one folder and one folder only for faces, same for iconfaces and no sub-folders.

Oh, so you mean I should place all the Sortitoutsi 1,2,3 updates etc should go in the original Sortitoutsi- folder? In that case I might have not been getting none of the updates...? But this is the first time they all disappeared though.
If that's the case, can I just put the sub folders in the original one and hit reload? Or do I have to download them again and open them up in there?
