It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Do you have a file named config.xml in that folder? The config file is what makes the game read the images and assign to the correct person.

I dont think it does, it has 'DS Store' in the top left hand corner when you click on the file

I'm not a Mac User so I can't tell if the folder is this one: Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive
Also, can I have a screenshot of the properties of your faces folder? You definitely look like you don't have the full megapack in there. If you download the full 12.08 pack, you should have over 254,000 images.

I definitely downloaded the full megapack but it there is only 31000 images in there. I assume the best way would be to delete them and start over?

Looks like it's an issue from your end. I've got a poor connection and when I tried to download it just now, the speed was fluctuating between 600-800kb/s. Do you have a torrent client running or anything on the whole network (not just on your PC) which might be clogging up the bandwidth?

I'm not so sure about that, I moved to another network and everytime I retry downloading it it starts with 4Mb/s for 5 seconds until it lowers to ~400kb/s

I cant download any Pack from this Site. I made a PremiumAccount and want download Cut Out Faces. After 2 Gigabytes the download stops. "Fail".
I had stoped my Kaspersky, reload my Network , tried all out. From other Sites I can download without Problems. What can I do to get the Packs. Please help and sorry for my bad english.

As it's such a large file, the chances of a brief interruption happening naturally increase. If you use Google Chrome, it should be possible to resume the download from the point where it was interrupted, rather than downloading it again from scratch.

Ive been playing FM for long years my graphic folder has a lot of items. But after the recent update faces are not showing. I have the confi.xml file in faces folder inside graphics folder.

Is this possible to download the Mega Facepack files in smaller portions than the 14gib file? I subscribed to the website thinking they would be available as the free method was going so slow.
However my internet is quite slow and I'm unable to pause and resume the 14gib file as it errors each time.
