It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

The facepack does include the config, so you most probably have not downloaded the full pack. How many images in total do you have in your faces folder?

As suspected you haven't downloaded the full pack. I have no idea which part the config file is found in, but whichever one it is, you'll have around a third of the pack missing.
If you're downloading the split files, why not use the 12.0 torrent, which is a quicker and more efficient method of downloading the file?

And when I enter the game I spend hours and hours with the splash screen.
My theory is that my Mac can't read all the files. Anybody has a solution? In my other Macbook (not the iMac) I can see the folder content correctly

I checked the folder and even the pics went missing, i don´t know why this happens because i just add the latest changes pics. Then i do new config via fmXML like i did before, and some pics gone which i can´t explain why.
I mean i add the latest changes and click to replace older pics and then make the new config, why does it delete pics that where there before?
And i know for sure some pics where there before, because they showed up in my saves and gone missing after i added the latest changes packs.

You will not have installed the update pack correctly somehow, I'm afraid. And you should not need to "do new config via fmXML like i did before", the config file in each update pack is tested and works perfectly fine.

I'm just wondering which files do i copy into my fm20 graphics folder. Is it 'sortitoutsi' on its own, or both 'faces' and 'icon faces' seperate?

Doesn't make a difference really, as long as they're in the graphics folder. Best to leave them in the sortitoutsi folder to be sure they don't get mixed with something else in the future.
If you're on a PC, it should be in Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2020. Create the graphics folder if it doesn't exist.
If you're on a Mac, from FM20 onwards, there's been a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically go in the Documents folder here:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive
Now the files will instead appear in the following location:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive
By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:
Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2020’

If you use the site's FM fatabase, you can find his cut-out and download him easily.
However, if you want to see it in your game, then you will need to modify your config file to include, there's no 2 ways around it. Use the method outlined in this thread to do so
If you're having persistent issues with internet connectivity, with regular disconnections, I suggest using Google Chrome to download it. With it, it should be possible to resume the download from the point where it was interrupted, rather than downloading it again from scratch.

Yeah i know i could have put each pack without touching it, but i have a tick that bothers me when i see to much folders there. So i just copy/paste the pics into one big faces folder i have instead of multiple folders, thats why i make a new config with fmXML.
It worked all the years i play FM just fine.
This year it remains a mystery why this action would randomly delete a few pictures. I am pretty sure the packs or the files from here are not the reason, because like i said i do it the same way for years and it never happened.
I don´t even know why it happens because there is no logic explanation to this, there is no action i do that involves deleting anything. Just copy and overwrite, and last time i checked overwriting is not exactly deleting.
Something is weird with this years FM anyway because some pics sometimes just don´t show, just to appear again the next time i am on the same screen.
I was just thinking that maybe anyone had something like this and could help.

Clicking it takes me to `https://fileserver7.sortitoutsi.net/index.php?key=35034750&domain=sortitoutsi.net` and the error:

Hi there. Worked fine for me just now. Can you retry now? Also, can you try downloading it using a different browser (or in incognito mode), in case it's an extension conflict issue.

The megapack I downloaded is here, 14GB looks right?
However, when it gets extracted, the file is only 7GB?
I'll give extraction another go in a bit cos it seems like that is the problem here.
