If he goes there I wouldn't hold any grudges, he's done a magnificent job for us. He'd be the biggest idiot in the world to take that job though.

I can see Everton going for someone like Owen Coyle for some reason.

It's realistic though.

Cheap, decent track record (for a while), not a lot of money spent.

He is utter shit, but being an Everton fan we all know that him along with the others we mentioned are realistic because out board lacks ambition.

It's more than likely Steve Round will just step up, unforuantly. I'd happily take Solskjaer, but I don't Kenwright would approach a foreign manager.

Redknapp?

Him vs Kenwright over transfers would at least be hilarious.

Martinez would be a good shout.

Adkins would be a good idea too, did he take the Blackpool job?

Nope, they've still got a caretaker in charge I think.

Last I heard about Blackpool was that they tried to get Coyle but he turned it down.

Aye, that's alot of money to want as well considering we have a hefty debt... Villa went for £60mill.

A few other bits from it:
We're up for a shared stadium. (ffs)
Apparently there is a middle east group interested in us.
The stadium is the issue regarding failed takeover attempts.

Not a lot that we didn't already know, but getting how much Kenwright apprently wants out in the open is good.

I sort of understand the £125m price, given how big the new TV deal is, but it's still massively optimistic given the debt and the stadium.

Breaking News that Phil Neville is leaving us when his contract is up at the end of the season. I know he got some stick, but he done a lot for the club and was an amazing captain. Unfortuantly his body couldn't keep up with PL football. I'm going to miss his pointing.

http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2013/04/09/neville-to-leave-the-blues

Phil Neville has today confirmed that he will be leaving Everton at the end of the current season after eight years at the club.

Neville, who joined Everton from Manchester United in the summer of 2005, will take some time to weigh up his options before deciding on his next career move.

A member of Stuart Pearce’s England U21 coaching staff for the upcoming European Championships this summer, Neville has nevertheless made it clear that he is looking to extend his playing career beyond this season.

Neville said, “It’s been an honour to play for and captain Everton Football Club. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time on Merseyside and will leave with immense pride.

"I would like to thank the Manager, Chairman, all of the staff and the players at Everton for their continued support during my time at the club. I’d also like to pay a special thanks to the fans, who have been amazing over the past eight years and Everton will always have a place in my heart. I want to continue to play at the top level as long as I physically can, and will be weighing up my options before making a decision on my next move. I’ll now be doing everything I can to help Everton finish as high up the league table as possible.”

Neville, who became only the seventh player in Premier League history to make 500 Premier League appearances with the game against Wigan on Boxing Day this season, was 28 when he signed for Everton in August 2005.

He has made 303 appearances for Everton, netting eight goals and being Club captain in January 2007 following the departure of David Weir to Rangers.

He was the winner of the Club's Goal of the Season award last year for his strike against West Brom at Goodison.

His playing career began at Manchester United. During his time at Old Trafford he won six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, one Champions League and one World Club Cup.

Class player and top professional. Really stepped out of his brothers shadow when he went to Everton.

He's always been one of my favourite players and I'm not quite sure why, considering the two teams he's played for.

125m for Everton isn't unrealistic.

We had a colossal amount of debt and went for 110m.

Whilst looking to find confirmation that the United crest is a fake I've read that Everton are apparently changing crests, with more substantial evidence that it maybe true.
