The Backgrounds Megapack was originally made up of aerial shots of stadiums taken from Google Maps and Google Earth, but is now also containing Competitions, Player and Fan Backgrounds, as well as beautiful City Images.

The folder name is correct, but you should have all the files from the 4 separate folders, all in one section.

If you merge all the folders you have, that should be the file set-up.

I want to download sortitoutsi_google_map_stadium_backgrounds_2019.00_changes.zip, but on MEGA it's too big to download it, I'll have to pay for it.
Is there another way to download it?

I can see where the updates are for 2020 but not the main pack?

Could anyone recommend me a skin though? The default FM20 skin is almost good enough but the interface is too transparent. So when i'm in my squad page I can barely see my players' name.

I use this one. Built open the dark default skin with a few tweaks and with customised background image support

The background pack are undergoing changes at the moment. The logo backgrounds for clubs have been added. The stadiums are right now only visible under the stadium view. A solution where you can choose whether to have logo backgrounds or stadiums as background for clubs are being worked at. So yes it is correct.

OK, thanks for the explanation. I'm looking forward to the solution where you can make your own choice. For me the stadium as a background is much better.

What if we don't apply the latest update? Do we get the stadium images instead of the logos?

I'm not sure I understand the question correct. But if you don't apply the the update, then yes nothing happens.

It is a boring technical thing. The idea is to expand the pack to include "City pics" and the "FMT Stadium Superpack (small inside stadiums)", and to have the 3d google stadiums associated with stadium id instead of club id. Also some people think the stadiums as background makes it difficult to read the text.. When the transformation is complete the background pack will work perfectly with all skins, and not to worry a solution where you can choose stadiums as backgrounds will be included

This is an excellent initiative. I myself am confused by so many different packages and never quite know what to install.

You are not alone..... That is exactly the plan.... gather all the backgrounds in to one pack, and insure they work together. Part of the plan is also that we hope people will start using the request system. So instead of having many different packs we can combine the resources and make one great pack

That is not possible. But download the full pack and delete anything you don't want and then use this app to make a config only for player backgrounds : https://sortitoutsi.net/downloads/view/848/fm-graphics-configurator-for-pc
