You can safely download the current pack with FM21 in mind, though perhaps it might be worth waiting closer to release to be sure you're downloading the very latest cut-outs

I had a format, lost all the files
I was able to download 12.0 by torrent, but the updates are uploaded to hosting that works very very slow in my country.
Any approximate date?

Too early to tell, but it'll be out, as always, prior to the release of the FM21 beta a couple of weeks before full release of the game. So I'd say roughly in a month's time or so.

This will be the final update pack for FM20 and the 12.0 series. Work now starts on the FM21 version of the megapack, the 13.0 series, which will be available prior to the release of the FM21 beta and which will be available via torrent as usual

For those of you who have kept up-to-date, the 13.0 update pack is also available for download, containing 5,057 new or improved images from the previous 12.18 update pack.
As always, the importance and excellence of the work done by all the cutters throughout the year cannot be overstated. This is a pack done in everyone's spare time, so we are indebted to the work done by the community to provide this popular pack, which has now entered the thirteenth year of its existence. In the year since the release of the 12.0 base pack, 19 update packs have been released, containing a massive and barely believable 87,883 cut-outs, which has meant that 44,243 new people have been added to the megapack, as well as countless other thousands of improvements

There was never any such possibility on the old site 😕 You would need to find each of them in the cut-out faces search tool and download them all individually.

Both are in a way correct.
The actual amount of files in the torrent is 279,551. A number of cut-outs have been deleted from my end through the years, such as wrong UIDs, incorrect filenames, images with the wrong file extensions etc. Due to the way the megapack upload system is structured, once an update pack has been uploaded, the images identified for deletion cannot be deleted from the online repository of images. However, they are deleted from my megapack folder and the config itself online contains code for 279,278 cut-outs 😉
In short, you have nothing to worry about if you have 279,551 cut-outs in your megapack folder. The game will only read 279,278 and you won't notice the difference 😉

If you download the Complete pack 13.0 you're good to go, as it's the most up-to-date version. More updates will be released in the next months, as per usual.

Afraid not. We may need to wait till the full game is out to get them this year.
That's one of the reasons why I held off adding them to the megapack until we had visibility on them. Going by the data researcher tools and the fact they appear as such in the game at this point, I think it's fair to proceed on the assumption it's a new UID naming convention and that the UIDs won't be changing.

I was a bit wary until the release of the beta, but I can't foresee a change in UIDs so late in the day, so I'll be adding players using the new UIDs.
